Do you use the FSA crown race? Or does have the rudy an integrated crown race?

Frame finally arrived this afternoon, evening of building commenced.
Ironically, ran into a roadblock with the only non-Chinese component on the bike, my sram brakes off my old bike. Just couldn’t get the stealthamajig to work, no matter what I tried.
Eventually admitted defeat, moved on and add the rest, will take it into the shop tomorrow for brake fixing.

Current build:
- lexon gravel bars (38-90)
- Boland gravel suspension fork (I plan on swapping between this and the stock fork)
- Roval c38 wheels off my old bike
- sram Axs (rival/gx) Groupset
- SIGEYI Axs power meter with a (surprising) 48T chainring with no clearance issues
- (after brakes are sorted) Vittoria mezcal 2.1 tyres (mainly coz I can’t get thunder burts anywhere)

I used the FSA one.

You could try a 52x40x7 bearing with 45/45 degree and another crown race

Couldn’t get the valve to release. Turns out I had the olive on backwards, so that’s solved now.
Now I just need to remove the play from the headset, seems I have a similar issue to others here in that regard

The Lecon bar comes with two c rings, one plastic one metal. Use the plastic one, metal is regularly trash as is often out of tolerance. Then you should not have any headset play.

Did exactly that this morning, and seems to work. Thanks!

Just tyres to go now

Mezcals on, and plenty of room (21mm internal rim helps there)

Also chainring clearance with a 48 tooth

Thanks, that solved it, weird that this FSA bearing is not that standard, I won't change the top one, because for that I would have to reroute the brake hose, but with the bottom one it seems fine.

Nice. Top was also no problem when I used the FSA bearings for their ACR system.

Are you 100% on the height of that bearing? I asked them for the specs as I wanted to source my own bearings and they sent me this picture below. It's an 52x40 with 45/45° but at 8H. Now got me wondering what the correct size is ...
Slow on the climb. And everywhere else.

Yes, these are the sizes. I use them currently with SLT bearings. 8 mm height could also work maybe with a slightly larger gap.

Yeah, don't like unnecessary gaps. Will get the 7H then. Cool, thanks for confirming!

I hade something like this, standard chinese bearing: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006126989753.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.5.42c118021uH6Ib (the 52 one)

It is not even specified what are the exact values of the bottom bearing.
