cockpit that can be detached for travel

Hello.
What are the options for integrated cockpits that have enough play in them to be removed and attached sideways to the frame for transport in traditional bike bags & boxes?
The idea is to have full hose integration, but a setup that allows to travel without having to disconnect the brakes and having to re-bleed and all that jazz.

Maybe not really what you are looking for but if you have wireless shifting (so only hydraulic lines to disconnect) then maybe take a look at https://zenocycleparts.com/collections/q-connector-bicycle-hydraulic-quick-coupler. You might be able to fit them somewhere where the cables exit or go the other route and use a stem handlebar combo that supports internal routing and mount the quick couples inside the stem.

Very interesting, thank you. It could work, indeed, although because everything is integrated i'd have to put that on the calipers, and i'm not sure there's enough space. Enough space to fit it, and whether it'd create enough slack to move the bars sideways.
I also don't know if i'd trust it with my life.
it doesn't help that the website is super confusing and i can't figure out what i'd have to order.
Are people using this?

I use the couplers from Zeno. I have a set on my two main bikes. It allows me to remove the bars completely to inspect the forks.

They are also the ones currently used by No 22. I dont think you are in the US, but we also have a distributor here now: https://www.ticycles.com/components/hydraulic-brake-line-coupler-2m7fy.

They are functionally the same as the hydraulic ball valve type couplers that used for motorcycles and other industrial applications. The pins are a bit finicky but they are the most compact ones available. I don't think this solves your ask though. If you have enough slack to pull these out of an integrated bar stem you have enough slack to just pull the bars off.

Scicon bags are probably the most common bags seen at events. Also the bags Enve ships their custom bikes in. They don't require bar removal. Unfortunately as they have gotten more popular they have gone from recommended to not on Bikeflights because of broken handlebars. Evoc has a version that is semi-rigid that also doesn't force removal of the bars.

I personally just add extra padding to the bar tops and levers and foam pipe insulation  when packing mine. Adds a few extra minutes but works really well.

Exactly my thoughts every time I look at these. I was thinking about using these when building up my disc bike but eventually gave up. Also I don’t quite know where to put these on my bike. There’s a bit of brake line showing under my stem where they exit the headset. But not enough space there I reckon.
