The clear coat is standard if you want it.  It was something like an extra $75 for the custom paint work.  I've seen cheaper quotes from some of the other Chendors but I was fine with the cost at the time.

Glad to see this place is doing well. Joined 2 years ago near launch and impressed with some of the beautiful builds and info here.
Rather than bumping my original build thread for a single pic figure Id add it to this thread.

Very interesting paint work, although the text is pretty difficult for me to read, it's very unique.

Thank you ! I wanted it to look like a design more than text.

Hey everyone,

Just completed a new build of a 29er hardtail from Carbon Speed CS-057! Peter was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the transaction went flawlessly. Peter was very professional and took the time to answer all of my questions without hesitation! The best part was it only took roughly 8 business days for delivery and i was pleasantly surprised as i ordered a road bike from another manufacturer that took over a month. Packaging was great and the frame was perfect when it arrived. The build list is as follows:

CS-057 frame large
Sram X9 1x10 drivetrain
Raceface Turbine DM crank
Raceface full carbon cockpit
Easton EC90 wheels
Maxxis Ikon tubeless tires
Shimano XT brakes
Xfusion Trace 100mm fork

Haven't put much time on her yet but so far it has been awesome!!! The frame is so stiff and all of your energy goes towards propelling you forward. This is my first time on a hardtail so i'm adjusting to that but, the ride is not harsh at all. It is very damp and quiet. I was expecting to loose some agility compared to my 26 fs but i must say it is actually more agile! There has not been much of an acclimation period. I've felt comfortable form the first time i rode the bike. Very happy with my purchase and i'm looking forward to many fast miles ahead!!!

Nice build, really like your color choice.  The bright green really stands out.

Hi everyone! My first post here :)
Few days ago I bought this carbon frame:

It looks exactly like IP-056 to me... It comes with Aerozine headset and an already fitted BB30 bottom bracket Also I can't understand from the pics if the headtube is tappered or not.
If anyone can recognize what model is the frame and give me more info about it would be highly appreciated :)

Welcome to Chinertown.  Looks like an -056 (-057 came with a thru axle).  Most likely the head tube is tapered.

Thank you for your answer CD!
The seller said it's tappered, but doesn't know anything about the frame. I believe it's a good quality chinese frame. Can't wait to see it completed with all the components, especially with the white forks I have. Will post a pic as soon as I get it done :)

This weekend I cleaned the fork and changed the saddle. Still looking for the perfect one.

What do you think about the chain length? Don't really know how short it can be with the 1x11 setup...
