Lightest TT frameset on the market
« on: August 20, 2024, 10:49:58 PM »
Hello

What is the Lightest TT (Triathlon) frameset on the market?

I can only find ~1300+gr for frame and ~400+gr fork. Maybe there something lighter? Will be happy for any information

P.S. disk required , 32mm tire width will be good

Realistically you won’t find something lighter for a full aero frame.

The weight of a TT frame is probably the last thing that matters, unless you're maybe a tiny lady.
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

Probably not what you want to here, but Specialized made a big deal about the current generation shiv being extremely light, so it's probably that. If for some reason you need a light TT bike, maybe there are some road frames that can fit TT extensions, but thats probably worst of both worlds

unless you are looking at something like Seb Kienle's Scott Foil modded for Norseman tri.
In aliEx, the tt-x38 + custom cockpit may come close to that Foil
