FYI.  The android version of the Wheeltop App that Sriracha has works properly, versus the version that the sellers send you a link to.  I am now a happy owner of my EDS OX derailleurs.

900 mile review using the EDS OX with a removable battery.

Overall I am very pleased with the performance and battery life of this system!!!

I had one strange thing happen, and then one other issue I need to look into.

1.  Before a multi-day ride, I left the bike sitting for 2 weeks with almost a fully charged battery.  Tried to ride the bike and it wouldn't shift.  Battery was drained.  Swapped battery and it started shifting properly.   (Makes me wonder if one will need to keep the new model fixed batter version, hooked up to its charger when the bike is sitting there.)

2.  I decided to ride a 800K/500 mile bike-packing trip with 9000M/30K+ feet of rolling-hill climbing.   Seemed like almost continuous shifting non-stop for 12 hours a day.
I was pleased to find that the battery lasted 3 days, before I decided to swap it out and install a fresh charged one. 

3. After about 3 hundred miles, the derailleur stopped shifting crisply between several of the gears.  (The bike suffered through rain, mud, dust, and a lot of non-stop shifting and it was working on a 53+ pound loaded-up bike.)
I still haven't looked into why it stopped shifting a few single cog/gears.  I am thinking that I need to tune/adjust it by one or two pushes of the button in teach mode.   Since I haven't looked into it in detail, it could also be a cassette issue. Shimano XT Cassette has about 4K miles on it with little cleaning.

Bringing this thread back to life.    I rode a grueling 590 mile bikepacking ride recently.  I ran one of my Wheeltop EDS OX derailleur systems on the 1X12 bike I used.  I shifted great, until it didn't....

The ride I rode was really hard on my bike.   Root fields, rocks, hike-a-bike hiking trails, well used quad trails, abandoned trails.  Many mud bogs, creek crossings, river crossings and downed trees.     About 300 miles into the ride the chain started jumping off my 50 cog into the spokes.  Thought it was the derailleur, but turned out to be a broken tooth on the 50 cog that would let the chain get thrown.     Further into the ride, the derailleur stopped shifting smoothly across many of the gears.  About 500 miles into the ride, I could no longer shift out of my 3 highest gears until I shifted a 4th time, then it would jump across all 4 gears.  It also stopped shifting into my highest gear.   (I figured most of this was due to a stretched out chain.)

This derailleur has at most 1500 miles on it!!!

I was able to keep the OX shifting just good enough to finish the ride.

Today I spent 6 hours trying to get the OX derailleur to shift smoothly again.   So far no luck!   I replaced my front chainring, new chain, and swapped in a near new ZTTO cassette.    No matter what I adjust, I can't get the derailleur to shift out of the highest gear into the next lower gear.

- I've added 2 chain links, too loose, and then removed one.  Better..
- I have adjusted the "B" screw so many times that the OEM threadlock compound is worn of the threads.
- I ran down my cell phone battery using the app hour after hour trying to adjust the cassette gears to a good trim, and trying to get it to shift smoothly.
- It appeared that the derailleur cage was twisted and bent.   I spent over an hour, gradually flexing/bending the long cage trying to get it perfectly aligned with the smallest gear.  (This hasn't helped.)

My next step is to remove the derailleur and swap with another EDS OX off of another bike.

I am beginning to think that the Wheeltop EDS OX isn't a very robust derailleur...

EDIT:   I put on a new derailleur.  It set up and it shifts quickly and correctly across all the gears.  It took me about 20 minutes total to get it to work.   

WHAT THE F**CK GOES BAD/FAILS WITH THE WHEELTOP ESD OX DERAILLEURS THAT MAKES IT SO THAT THERE IS NOT ENOUGH FORCE TO SHIFT OUT OF THE HIGHEST GEAR/SMALLEST COG!!!

Now, I have 2 EDS OX rear derailleurs with the same problem!!!

Damn that sucks.  Any problems with getting them warrantied?
