Elitewheels only with decals?
« on: December 04, 2024, 05:52:07 AM »
Hello everyone,

I ordered a set of Elitewheels EDGE during Black Friday Week. According to the AliX Chat they only produce the Rims with decals, as I originally wanted a blank rim  :-\

Has anyone had a recent experience that was similar/contrary? For future buyers this might be interesting, to either order directly from their manufacturer or choose another company if you want clean wheels

Yes, decals only. if you want black wheel with same spec you need to contact Yuanan.

I expressed my intention to buy via Ali and was also told that it wouldn't work without a logo. I didn't get in touch for a few days. Suddenly it was possible without the logo.

My buddy awhile back was able to order ENT Elite Wheels with no decals. Maybe they've gotten rid of that option.

They are under clearcoat. I looked into this as well when ordering and they told me 'no decal' was not an option. On a good note I have thrashed the wheels quite well off road. A little bit of off road jumping and countless rocks hitting them and only a couple noticeable nicks in the sides and still very true. They are 50mm deep ENT with 35mm gravelking ss tires and I am 100 KG.

that was my conclusion as well when i looked into it. Elite tends to make wheels that are too narrow, too, but Yuanan has more modern, wider rims, so it's a win win. Although if you time your purchase well, you might pay less via Alix and their discounts. I never found the exact spec i wanted on Alix, always bought direct from OEMs.
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.
