Winowsports FM236

Hi Guys...

Just got another crazy build to start  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Does anyone have experience with this exact frame model? It seems to be of better quality than my previous build. I’m waiting for my 105 SS Mech to arrive, and I’m eager to see if this frame meets my expectations.

Also, the matte finish really shows every fingerprint!;D ;D ;D

If we believe my cheap scale, the frameset weight is... 2.30kg

handlebar = 0.382
seatpost (with metal mounts)= 0.197
fork (with TA + base spacer)= 0.41
frame (with TA, head bearings, derailleur mounts)=1.25
accessories  = 0.14

total weight = 2.38 (my cheap scale hides 0.08kg)  ;D ;D ;D

my estimated weight will be around 7.73kg (with superteam 50mm wheels)

Can you share your parts list?

Winow FM236
Ltwoo R9
evosid crankset 165mm
sunshine superlight cog
YBN chain
zrace brake disc
superteam wheelset
ultrasport tire
cylami TPU
cheap handlebar tape (prologo)
giant-like bottle cage
mixed 7D saddle

issues on my build;
1. handlebar routing since it was narrow compared to other handlebars, it takes time for me to figure out how to route using lead cables ;)
2. crankset width that will end you up using spacers which means the spindle is quite long unlike the usual length of shimano or magene... the Q-factor is wider than my other bikes...
3. lastly, the headset bearing is quite deep leaving the cap scraping on the frame, i end-up putting some micro-spacers(1mm) between the cap & bearing guide to lift the cap a bit to avoid scraping the frame...

rest is fine... need to ride more and longer...

that's the tackiest bike i've seen on this forum for months. for the love of god, remove those s-works decals, they're not even centered properly. The wheel decals are atrocious as well. As i write this, you got 79 downloads on your photo and zero likes, which should tell you something.
Well done on keeping the build price so low. If you actually ride the bike, i would suggest putting on conti gp5000 or some other good tyres, as the bike will instantly feel much nicer to ride. It's the one line item where i wouldn't cut corners - assuming you actually ride the bike, as i have friends who buy bikes but ride them twice a year.
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

You said what we all are thinking :) The bike would look 100% better without those decals...

The main thing is that the bike pleases its owner :). And then, tastes and colors are subjective ;).
