Help! Bike Build by the seat of my pants

Can't ride a bike for shit. But I love tinkering with anything I can. Last year my husband got back into cycling and he's been killing it. Lost 50lbs, he's rode 5100 miles on his current bike, rides everyday.

 All this to say

He's been thinking about getting a fixie to switch it up, and with the tarrif bullshit I figure no time like the present. Got a frame they were about to scrap as such the frame was all we got.

Planning on buying a fork adapter to fit a normal sized stem. Along with the compression plus for carbon fiber and spacers.

Is there anything I'm missing or anything that looks fucked up?

Any advice on the cranks?  Seems like there are so many variables with fitting and shitty ones flexing (he's still a big dude 265lbs 6'3) so I don't want to murder him before I take out an insurance policy.

If you're building this last minute, I'd make sure to get Choice items. Seems like the fastest way to get stuff before the tariff bulls**t comes into effect.

I wouldn't even mess around with an alloy axle crankset at your husband's weight and size. Pick up a steel axle crankset. Senicx PR3 seems well regarded and fairly cheap.
