Onirii? LFZ? Shudder...Lexon?

What do people think are the best lightweight replacements for Dura Ace Pedals (if you can't afford Xpedos).

I think that for the name alone, it's worth saving up to join the X pedo. After 3 sets, you get a XXX pedo badge, and then you real gangsta.

Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

I use these on my road bike. Weight claim is accurate, they just work fine. Have about 5.000 km into them. Best part: got them for around 15 USD on sale - so if I eventually crash them, they are cheap to replace:

Slow on the climb. And everywhere else.

Oniiri and LFZ are solid, racing on those :-)

I am on LFZ, I think they are great. A bit stiff at the beginning because of all the factory grease, but that will eventually go away after a few hundred miles.

which one do you prefer between Onirii and LFZ?
How close are they to Ultegra/Dura Ace in term of stability and stack?

After previously destroying the nut that attaches the axle assembly to the pedal body of the Onirii PD-06Ti pedals (https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,3910.msg67126.html#msg67126), I ordered the pedals a second time (I returned the first set). This time I was able to open up the pedals using a deep 18mm socket, standing on the pedal body with one foot and stomping on the wrench with the other foot. Replaced the super-sticky grease (glue??) with marine grease (!), and they now spin great.

More importantly, I found that using original yellow Shimano SPD-SL cleats results in slight lateral rocking (think SPD pedals with multi-angle release cleats, or worn Speedplay pedal bodies). Using red Exustar E-RSL11 / Garmin Rally RS cleats eliminates the rocking (cleats: https://www.garmin.com/en-AU/p/780003/pn/010-13138-00 or https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HP0MTOC or https://www.thebikesmiths.com/products/exustar-5519).

so there is play in the Onirii pedal when using an original SPD SL cleat? That would suck. I have the Onirris at home, havent used them yet

There was some rocking for me, yes. That's with the spring tension set to the lowest (easiest) level though. And I didn't try the included cleats.
