Which 2 saddles?

I have an "aircode" which is known to have a very wide nose, and - indeed - mine was too wide. My thigh rubbed quite a bit on the nose of the saddle. I did a lot of riding with it, though, including a century ride and didn't have any noticeable wear on my bibs. After a few hundred miles I was aggravated by the rubbing and replaced it with a different ryet saddle with a narrower nose. Been using that one for probably 1000mi since then with no noticeable bib issues.

I experience the same issue with my aircode and it's got nothing to do with the nose. It's the wing area on each side that is the culprit, specifically the honeycomb 3d area where it just meets the carbon base which is causing the rub and ultimately destroying my bibs. My solution is to place a small piece of black gorilla tape over the area and it's fine.

I see. I always thought the Aircode would prevent wear in this area because the honeycomb rubber doesn't wrap around the edge, in fact it stops about 1/4" from the edge leaving smooth carbon as the only thing that could rub (for me).

If you otherwise like the shape and comfort of the Aircode, maybe look around. Ryet makes this very same saddle with many different patterns of "3d print" pad. I've also heard on a different thread that people think the newer ones have a different rubber feel than the older ones. My point being, though, that this same saddle shape seems to be kicked out with a TON of different surfaces and rubber types. Maybe one will rub less for you?
