Problem – Kocvelo Road Disc Rear Hub New Ratchet Rings
« on: May 29, 2025, 04:15:24 AM »
I hope someone can help me. The ratchet rings on my rear wheel are damaged. Now I need replacements – does anyone have an idea? They don't seem to be original DT Swiss ones, judging by the thread pitch and diameter. Ideally, I'd like ones with about 36 teeth, because the steel 60T ones are far too delicate.
Thanks for the help – maybe someone can assist me.

The problem is that all upgrade kits have fine threads, but mine doesn't – and the screw thread is also larger at 35mm compared to DT Swiss EXP. A complete disaster.

Yeah it's clearly not a "original style" DT ratchet system as they are two individual ratchets which are held in place by springs. Yours is screwed on one side. It does look like a aftermarket EXP-style; too bad the pitch does not match (I did not check but it seems you did already).

Only way forward I see right now, is texting Kocvelo about the issue and ask for replacement parts. Maybe someone else has a better idea ...
Slow on the climb. And everywhere else.
