Stem for vb-r-066

Hi,
I need a 90 mm stem for my bike. However, velo build doesn't have it on stuck until end of the month and I would really like to have it within the next few weeks since I'm joining a 300 km race.

Are there any alternatives? And what about the internal cabel routing, spacers etc?

Unfortunately I can not comment for the VB-R-066.
But I have fitted a Deda Superbox DCR system to my VB-R-099 and I believe others here have fitted FSA ACR type headsets and stems (No. 69 or No. 55) to other Velobuild frames.

I bought this for friends recently.

It's cheap, it works.
you can probably ask VB to ship bars with exit points left and right of the stem area, instead of in the middle of the stem area, that way you route through the bar, under the stem, and into the frame. If not, worst case, you just route the hose externally, then under the stem, and into the frame.

Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

I have a VB-R-066. I first built it up using this upper headset assembly from Ritchey. It enables the hydraulic hoses to enter the frame via the headset dust cover, so you can use a separate handlebar and stem. Great if you want to reuse existing parts you have, or if you want to easily swap handlebar and stem for fit reasons without cutting any hoses. It comes with the upper bearing, compression ring, and dust cover only (no lower bearing or spacers):

Later I swapped to this Kocevlo integrated handlebar, trading function for form:

Both fit the frame. I had to sand the Kocevlo dust cover a little to prevent rubbing on the frame after tightening everything down, but that was straightforward.
