29er Full for Marathon - Hello!:)
« on: July 25, 2015, 03:48:38 AM »
Hi,
This is my first topic here I want to say HELLO to all of YOU:)

I have a question about 29er full suspension frame. I want to buy frame for mtb marathon. I checked aliexpress etc but here ( on this forum ) I see more users than sellers:)

Now I have Orbea Alma m50 before I had Orbea Occam. I like this company and bikes but after one season on hardtail I'm sure full is better:)
What I need? Frame with good stamina, and with good / very good suspension. I saw IP-036 from Xmiplay and that looks like Scott Spark it is true? Somebody from forum rode on this frame?
Do You have any information about quality, working of suspension ( especially uphill )?
Thanks in advance for help
Bartek.

Hi luter. First of all, welcome to the forum!

If you do a search, I think you'd find answers to most of your questions.. but just to get you started.. Yes, the 036 is (if I remember correctly) very much like if not identical to the Scott Spark as far as geometry goes. As for quality of the frame, and efficiency of the suspension design, I think the 036 is fairly proven in both of those area, by now. There are multiple guys on the forum that have ridden that frame for quite a while now and have nothing but positives to say about it.

Here's a couple of threads for you to check out:
