You have two very different frames in suspension design.

Promance is like spark/scalpel... with a single pivot design and flex in the rear triangle. More sporty feeling i think.

Workswell is a 4 bar linkage, like the old specialized epic for instance. This design is supposed to be more responsive on small bumps but also more on pedal bob.

Geometry is given for 490 fork. With fully extended fork HTA comes to 69° and you probably lose 0,5cm of reach.
I think it's pretty close to the santacruz except RC which is a bit too long.

My BB shell is now creaking, too... I contacted Workswell and they offered me to send me a new BB shell and some glue.
With workswell customer has to repair his frame by itself? Do they sent you carbon sheet and resin if frame breaks?

Geometry is a bit oldschool and awkward, steep HA (71,5 in 19" is crazy), reach is really short, chainstays too long... who wants a MTB like this nowadays?
Good point is that rear triangle is probably very confortable with flatten chainstays and seatstays.

If you want to do gravel roads with 120mm stem it's a good frame, if you want something fun on trails go away.

Take care with your stem.
One guy on a french forum had the same and his handlebar was moving by 4 to 5 cm on the extremity due do the lack of stiffness of this carbon stem.

I had this one http://www.lightcarbon.com/mtb_hardtail-14-29er-mtb-hardtail-light-carbon-frame-lcm903. Relatively long geometry but oldschool headangle (71°).
Flat seat stays made the frame comfortable and very responsive at the same time.
It's a good choice for flat, but less capable on steep or fast descents than new school slackened frames.

TT is linked to seat tube angle and it's not appropriate to use it alone.
If you want to replicate your position look at reach and stack then you'll know which stem to put. You can potentially be well positionned on each size playing on stem lenght/angulation and seat post lenght/setback but your bike won't handle the same.
HA and WB reflect the way the bike will handle and have nothing to do with positionning.

Or you can run full housing, by drilling the ends.
I did that on most of my frames, but never had a 057.

I did the same on my previous frame. Shifting was not good when i used the housing from the factory, i drilled, removed it and putted a full length housing from shifter to derailleur, problem solved.

The Workswell WCB-M-145 looks pretty interesting. No Boost, but it has a 68 deg HTA. The reach on a medium is decently long at 428mm for a 100mm travel bike. The reach on my medium Workswell 062 is 414mm.

They have no real pictures and nobody else is selling so it seems to be a project in development.

69° head angle with a 150mm fork is not what can be called "trail". It's all like they wanted to keep a short enough wheelbase because of the huge chainstay 457mm :-\

For me geometry is really bad, i won't buy this...

Ok thanks, i'm thinking about testing a debonair.
About air pressure with this frame i'm riding between 25 and 30% SAG, my conclusion is that going less than 25 is not good.

By the way you should protect your bottom bracket from cable rubbing or you'll get the carbon digged soon, especially by your rear derailleur cable.

I pilled the trigger on the cs-821 17.5 frame from peter in the end. All I can say is WOW, What a bike. I think its been mentioned before but the hardware on this is another level compared to my old china full sus. This has a shorter chain stay and slacker head angle than my last frame and its made such a big difference, I find myself hammering on the downhills now and really flicking it around corners. The power transfer to the rear is 10 times better on the ups, even with shock fully open!!

As far as the build went, it couldn't have been smoother, I picked the frame up at 6pm friday night and took it for its first spin around 10am the next morning. The bearings/bolts were all nice and tight and the cable routing was a piece of cake with draw throughs in place.
 
If anyone has any questions about this frame just hit me up, I'd be happy to help.
Your shock is a dedonair right?
What do you think of it on this frame, is pedal bob not too much cause of the biggest sensitivity?

You will need the perfect seatpost lenght according to the seat tube design, this could be problematic with droppers.
