Good to hear you've got the 120mm in, I found it quite easy dropping mine to 90mm, did you install yourself?.... The 062 sits quite well and looks very trail with it bumped up, hope you get to ride it soon  :D I was very tempted to get the RF Next SL 425g with a 28T, but I'm happy with the X01 at a good price.

Thanks Guys. bxcc, that looks like a great deal but shipping to uk would probably make it not so....... I like the look of the SMP! and have been meaning to try one out.... Haha, yes its ironic their copying the copies. RS VR6, looks good but too wide as had a Specialized Phenom in 143mm and the thigh rub saw annoying, shame Specialized no longer make a narrower saddle to suit people with narrow hips...

You 100% right about the frame flex on the 062 rear Carbonazza when laying the power down, all the independent reviews I've read also mention the flex on the genuine carbon frame....... Its not a problem for me as i don't race and its such a fun frame to ride.....

Hi Richard,

I did thousands of km with the 3 frames. My order of preference is:

041: stiff and extremely stable when hammering the pedals.
The 27.2 seatpost provides comfort for the higher part of the frame.
Definitely my preferred of the 3.

062: the most playful on more technical terrain.
But it flexes too much when sprinting.
It is now my backup bike.

256: It was my first Chinese bike. And it sits between the two above, stiff but easy to corner too.
Unfortunately I did fall with all my weight on it last year, and a seatstay broke in 3 pieces.
I think it was more bad luck than a construction issue. The seatstay of the 062 are as skinny as the 256.
A friend has a 256 for 2 years now, he likes it so much, he bought another one second hand here on the forum.

As you may guess it quickly gets subjective or about impressions.
One thing sure, is that whatever frame you buy of the 3, you will be happy :)

I'm 5'10" too, and took always Large, with my 89cm inseam a 17 would put my seat far to high.

Hi Dhallmark, WorksWell were great to deal with. There was going to be an initial delay in dispatching as they were awaiting stock and holiday looming but within a week or so it was sent to EMS on a Sunday. and arrived in UK Tuesday
