Should I check the linkage pivots or are they generally OK?
The sandstone breaks down to grains of quartz, among other things, and this destroys any bearing...We have the same here, abrasive and often wet soil.
From now on it will be Cane Creek Hellbender 110. Sydney sandstone destroys bearings that aren't well sealed. Lifetime replacement gaurantee. You get what you pay for.

My CFR-707 size S is painted! External routing (externally from handlebar into frame). Rainbow color. Shipping via DHL (7-14 days) is $160. Paid by wire transfer.Nice ! It looks like a sturdy bike, ready for everything.
I finally did it! I was sweating bullets but managed to tighten it correctly. I heard three loud bangs that scared me a little but I believe nothing was damaged

Hi, I like to paint my carbonda 701 gravel bike and was removing al the hardware. But ther is tis little pice on the frame for the front derailleur. Its a cable stop but I would like to remove it but could not get it out. Anybody tips for getting it out. Or knows a replacement part from a other brand. Same for were the rear derelieur cable exits the frame at the back witch nou is kind of a janky pice of rubber rolled up.
Thanks
