I bought my bouncybike from them.
Their website isn't the best but they were easy to deal with through email and they sent an extra mech hanger for free  ;D

Unfortunately there's no information about them.

The rear triangle of my FM036 has a similar rattle, as Vipassana said it's probably just a rivet from where the cable guides are attached. I'm yet to hear it over wind/tyre noise.

After The Ride / Re: iPhone or Android??
« on: September 10, 2014, 04:29:19 AM »
I used Android for years but I wanted a way to upload files from my Garmin while bikepacking so I picked up a 3gs for £30 on ebay, I now have a 4s and the android devices are in a drawer. It's so much nicer when stuff 'just works', it also makes life so much easier given I already use OSX on the macbook and my hackintosh.

Good ride, good read!

I think this is the only race report I've ever read that features a literal not figurative shit sandwich.

I'm using a RockShox Monarch RT3 (Mid Reb/High Comp) aaaand, it works! Pretty sure it would be better with medium compression though, it's not the softest/most complient on the terrain I've ridden but I'm still having a fiddle, at 80km/h on terrible Welsh roads while bikepacking however it was lovely.

Giveaways for no apparent reason are the best giveaways;

Enter!  ;D

It was re:Sram being the lightest groupset, after it became apparent that a 2kg weight saving would only gain me a second on a 1km climb I stopped caring about bike weight so much, sure light bikes are fun but (for me) not worth the £1/g it costs to get there.

You should get over 1000 miles on a 90 minute charge but there are quite a few anecdotes of sudden failure after only a few hundred miles so there may be a few iffy batteries about.
Chain Reaction are saying 01/09/2014 for Di2 XTR, I'll be waiting for XT for the bouncy given how many derailleurs I've gotten through.

That linkage looks mental, I of course want it  ;D

Personally I think Nintendo gears are the best thing since sliced toast! The price, less so :-\ and until someone starts paying me in something other than cake to ride bikes I can't justify Ultegra/dura-ace prices so Di2 105 needs to hurry on up.

Sram Red is iirc still the lightest groupset if that's your thing (I stopped being such a weight-weenie after about 30 seconds of playing with http://www.analyticcycling.com/ForcesLessWeight_Page.html)
Sram also have a wireless electronic groupo on the way but not till next year some time and I'm not expecting it to be cheap.

Well I'm definitely a roadie; lycra, shaved legs, spreadsheets for my watts/kg, the lot. I also am currently lacking the in chiner road department though.

The next TT, Track and eventually disc roadie will all be Chinese, as soon as I can justify the spending.

You could buy the proper euro standard F/R and swap the hoses?

29er / Re: Do we need of a top head set plug?
« on: July 15, 2014, 01:22:53 PM »
You need it to preload the headset but after that the stem keeps everything nice and tight, only issue is in a crash where you need to put the stem back straight. But, given the build list of that bike I don't think that's something they're worried about.

When rebuilding mine I use two top caps;
First a preload the headset with http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/gusset-universal-headlock/rp-prod17766
then the lefty holds everything nice and tight regardless of whether I have a stem on or not so I have a much lighter one on for riding just to save my sternum.
