Re: Help me doublecheck my nooby first enduro build FM10
The only problem with that is, if you stick with the Himalo fork then your wheels will be QR so to upgrade your fork when and if you aren't happy you'll have to do the wheels at the same time.
What a deal breaker.
But there are quite a few hubs that can be converted from QR to through axle, just by changing the end caps. So he could upgrade the fork without changing the wheel.
However a 110mm boost need some shims and is clunky.

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts I would try the red line, it ends neater.
If you insure the hose does not touch the frame, there shouldn't be any rubbing, or maybe put some tape if needed.

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts
Hey guys,

just received the first pictures of my FM936. I wanted the colour like the new Orbea Oiz.
I think the made a really good paintjob.
Now it is time for waiting, till the frame is here.

Wow, stunning, is this transparent blue ?
I just requested few weeks ago to change my initial paint idea to this.
Not sure from the picture, did they add sequins ?

Re: Tan Tan GR040 Build
...Sensah shifters are crap from what I've seen...

I didn't rewatch the video, the guy like to talk more than inform  ::)
If I remember well it was an issue on the left lever.
There was a plastic part in the shifter, that would break when cable tension was too high on the front derailleur.

Not only they replaced that piece by a metal one on the new units.
But they sent this part to their existing clients for free.
Someone asked me a build with them, so I'll test them the coming weeks but for me Sensah look to care.

Re: Recommendations for cockpit parts For seatpost Elita One are great and light:

For handlebars and bars OG-Evkin:

A stem maybe, then the Kalloy Uno:

The saddle are more personal:
I did ride for years on a Gub 1156, which has the design similar to a Selle SMP.
Like drugs in a city, if you look around and ask you'll find them on Ali ;)

And last year I switched to something more radical, I love it.
Very comfortable even on ultra-long rides.

Re: Carbonda Cfr 1056
Then I went to the websites of those manufacturers and entered my measurements to get a recommendation (My size would be an S for my 172cm height / 80cm inseam). If you'd like to get more visual about it, you can import those numbers (manually) into bikegeocalc.com

A S will drop your bar lower compared to the same saddle height on a M.
You need to know if you are flexible enough to have your hand that low for few hours rides.
But a S will have your bar nearer the saddle than a M, so you may end up less stretched to grab the hoods.

A S if too small for you, can have a longer stem and a seatpost with offset.
And you can usually put about 3cm of spacers max below the stem if too low.

A M if too big is trickier.
Straight seatpost and shorter stem are less ideal for handling.

For comparison, I have both a Canyon Ultimate and Carbonda CFR505 in M(54) both with a 90mm stem and straight seatpost, no spacers.
Canyon were hesitating between a S and M, when I contacted them.
And I'm 178cm/89cm inseam. So very roughly about 3cm shorter torso than you  :o
My saddle is set at 76.5cm (BB/top of the saddle)

It looks difficult, but if you do your homework, it isn't that complex.
The good news is that as you look to be between two sizes, both will work with some eventual adaptations  ;)
My son, is your size more or less and rides a Carbonda CFR505 S with a 110mm stem.
I took it for a ride once, and it didn't feel strange.
