Yes but could not remember what thread it was and was looking for it! There is information about the brake mounts being on the seat stays instead of chain stays and that being problematic.

Yes, the seller always stated a lower price without me asking. They also alway add that it's sample bicycle parts in the details.

I'm in Canada too and I find this hard to believe. I mean, no offence intended, but are you saying you never had to pay taxes and brockerage fees, if not duties, on expensive parts like frames and wheels? I know from personal experience that they don't charge you anything on cheap parts like seat post, handlebars or seats, but was sure they would not let a big price tag item slip by without getting their cut. If you can confirm that, that would be a game changing info for me. Thanks.

So far, I did 7 major orders from China.

1st: 2 carbon rims from Light Bicycle. No taxes or duties paid.
2nd: 1 Road bike frame with seat post, handlebar, stem, headset, 2 bottle cages, spare hanger and fork from Dengfu. No taxes or duties paid.
3rd: 1 pair of road wheels from Far Sports. No taxes or duties paid.
4th: 1 Carbon FS bike frame (IP-036) with headset, seat post, 4 bottle cages and a spare hanger from IPlay. No taxes or duties paid.
5th: 2 carbon rims from Carbonbicycle. No taxes or duties paid.
6th: 1 carbon rim from Carbonbicycle. No taxes or duties paid.
7th: 1 carbon rim and 2 bottle cages from XMCarbonSpeed. No taxes or duties paid.

I'm on my 5th season with my Dengfu FM-098. If the style works for you, I would defenitely recommand it. It's not the lightest frame available but it's reliabale and stiff. They now also have the FM-099 that accept 32c tires. My FM-098 is at 16.5 lbs with a Ultegra Di2 setup and 24mm carbon wheel from Farsports.

Only downside of this frame is the proprietary seatpost with a 1 bolt system but mine is holding up well. You could order a spare one or two if you feel uneasy about it.

I would also go with higher profile wheels (38mm to 45mm) if I was to do it again.

This is my latest acquisition, RSD Mayor fat bike. Got it last september and put over 2000Km of snow riding on it last winter. This is the best bike geometry I ever rode so far in my life.

I'm talking about the FM356. You can see the link just over the bottom bracket.

And the other 27.5 frame I'm talking about was on Velobuildmall.com around 2 years ago and had something around 130-140mm of rear travel. I came close of buying it and ended up with a IP-036 instead. That frame on TanTan Cycling seems to be the same as the one I'm talking about.
