This is the main reason why I would choose Hygge over LightCarbon if I were to give in and review another cheap frame. I have confidence in believing LC's quality is identical to Yishun.

What makes companies like VeloBuild, Rinasclta, and ICAN attractive to new customers in the cheap Chinese world, is their ability provide a somewhat brand-like shopping experience while offering custom paint with logos. My VeloBuild videos are among my most watched videos for this reason.

Marketing ethics aside, I really like what Hygge is doing as a brand. Excellent paint/decal options and it appears to be decent quality. The price point is good too.

I really wanted an LCR017D or R1058D since it's not as aggressive as R086D. I even ordered a 100mm integrated bar stem combo and planning to use all spacers just to alleviate the aggressiveness of the frame. Tho I haven't tested the frame yet as I am still choosing a groupset and wheelset so it might take awhile. (next month would be the earliest as I still need to prioritize our upcoming baby! )

Not a noob question at all. Budget frames are supplied with budget hardware. I've found that the default expander plugs on cheap bikes don't grip the steer tube well. And are too short. Over time the headset stack will develop headset play as the plug slips from road vibrations and bumps.

Also running a longer (albeit heavier) plug means you can safely run spacers above the stem and still have the plug extend below the second/lower stem bolt clamping force.

Must....resist....the...urge...to...stock up on more spare groupsets for future builds.
