Re: Tantan TT-X16 aero model I have a TT X1 that I purchased through the help of SissyPants.

Ordering, delivery went smooth.

1st build... also smooth.

I like the bike.  It has helped me get several KOMs including one that I took from a TDF rider by 12s over 1/2 mile.  I even got a climbing KOM (albeit a not very popular one) & I am a sprinter (at anywhere from 165 to 195lbs depending on time of year).

It is fast.  It's on ICAN 55m tubeless 25mm GP5000s.  105.

I don't have a "real" bike to compare it to.  I went form a Trek Hybrid to an entry level Giant a size too big, to this.

My only complaints are

1 - Seat tube (didn't see that coming did you?) - Fix = Plastic Shim Stock .015"

2 - Not as stiff as I was hoping.  I burned holes in the sidewalls of my 28mm GPs from hills & sprints.  This also wore the paint away in the chain stays & even started cutting into the carbon itself...  Hence the 25s now.

Other than that I dig it.  I am now looking to build an aero disk with SRAM AXS.  I like the looks of Seraph & Sissy is cool to work with.

I am not sure I am going this route though as this will likely be my last build & my "forever" bike (unless I get a Time Trial).  I need it to be stiff.  I want KOMs & I want to be able to ride a century a few times a year.

Re: XCADEY XPower-S Power Meter €219
Yes that was with the 5$ USD option for shipping too. Not the 20$ option. :) Power is amazing, no more lying to myself.

More than not lying, it is useful !

Here's my most useful usage:
When you attack, you are clearly in the red for a moment.
But then, when you dropped everyone, keep the effort just below your critical power, you do not drain your battery anymore, but the dropped need to make the same effort you did to catch you.

The critical power is something you can evaluate with goldenCheetah an open source software I feed from my strava account.
Below the CP you recharge your battery, over the CP, you exhaust it.
And like everything in nature it is logarithmic !

And you have as well an estimate of your kJ reserve, and how deep you can dig before bonking.

A more pacific usage ;) is how fast you can do a long climb to insure you keep the same effort up to the top.

Re: XCADEY XPower-S Power Meter €219 @lukwy, It is still going well.
And honestly I can't see any difference with my Quarq or P2M from my other bikes.
I had the power pikes issue many reported in forums.
That was solved with the latest firmware.

Note it is a Sigeyi, not Xcadey.
If I remember well Sigeyi was more precise, but had an inferior app than Xcadey.
It is not that bad, for what I need it for( updating firmware...).

It is for 3 bolts SRAM MTB cranks.
But Sigeyi has various model for SRAM MTB boost/non boost, or road you can choose from.
Mainly for the chainline I guess.

Re: XCADEY XPower-S Power Meter €219 I think the Sigeyi app is fine. It does the firmware updates fine and battery level etc. It's battery life is amazing, im at 2 months of use and its still going strong.... I can't compare it to any other PM but I will say the results are as i exepect and I see no dropouts or false spikes. Its fast to read too power and cadance. However, as I say I have nothing to compare it to. I actually put my M8100 cranks on my road bike because im waiting for my new Magene Kickstarter PM and it works well in 1x mode for road too!

Re: XCADEY XPower-S Power Meter €219 I believe DC Rainmaker and GPLama both commented that the XCADEY was accurate enough but needed an offset value added to produce the correct numbers.  This would be very difficult to do if you don't have another way of measuring power to compare.

I recently purchased the Sigeyi in SRAM 3 bolt boost and have not had any issues.  It seems accurate compared to expected numbers for an effort vs my P2M on my groad bike.  So far I've refused pulling out the smart trainer this year so don't have a direct comparison.

I would double check the BCD of the 46/30 rings.  Most 110bcd won't accept an inner ring smaller than 33 teeth.  Also, L/R balance from a spider based pm is just an estimate.

Re: XCADEY XPower-S Power Meter €219
Thanks guys for the update. I think I'd go for Sigeyi then.
One more: does the balance L/R seem to work well?
Is it close to the "truth" according to your feeling?
I personally think it's great. Buy from the Sigeyi store with paypal, that's what I did. They shipped the same day and it came in 1 week to the UK. The instructions in the box were great and well translated and there was even 5 different colour stickers. The machine and annodising was perfect too. Make sure to note that you shouldn't use powerful 2-3A cell phone chargers to charge it, i think it's 500mA-1A  usb chargers (from memory) so i just use my laptop to charge it. This is a pretty common thing with smaller bluetooth sensors.

I've put a screen shot of the L/R split a longside the power profile from a recent ride. That L/R balace is pretty close to what I see on the Wattbike, so aremy power readings.

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts
I have the ZTTO double bottle holder and love it. I'm on an XL frame and don't have any interference, but I could see there being potential issues with a smaller frame. I also had problems with dirt getting in my bottles, but I 3D printed caps and that solved the problem
If you like drilling, dremelling and so, you can create your own "lyne" double bottle mount. On a medium frame i can carry two 750ml bottle.
It's a matter of millimeters but it works.

Two https://www.bike-onlineshop.de/Accessories/Bottles-Hydration/GIANT-Bottle-Cage-GATEWAY-4MM-SILVER.htm?shop=bike_en&SessionId=&a=article&ProdNr=GIA490000031&p=61 were killed during process.

This is something i made, the elite cage is a not thigh enough so the bottle is moving a bit up and down but i never lost it.
If my prototype can give ideas...

Re: Lexon "Riot 10" I just pulled the trigger on Lexon Riot frame, Matte. I got them to throw in an extra hanger.  First time buying, fingers crossed it all works out.  I'll continue to update on how the purchase and bike build goes...

******** Update*********
I ordered from Everjoy Industry Ltd (I know, kind of sounds like a porn name), which AliExpress indicated it was Official Lexon store, but there seems to be another seller also titled Official Lexon Store.  I went with Everjoy because they had a good rating (96) and I could get the frame in matte with the Rockshox Monarch RL shock for about $50 cheaper than if I purchased it separately from the lowest I could find here in the States (hoping this wasn't a mistake).

The frame and shock shipped within 2 hours of me placing the order.

Communication with Everjoy has been good, I happened to be working late last night when I mad the purchase so it was daytime in China.  They replied to all of my questions quickly and included photos of what was in the package.  So far very pleased with the transaction.

Attached is shot of the frame from Everjoy prior to shipping.
