Re: Alternatives to Winspace/Yoeleo/Seka/Elves?
I have a contact who's been dealing with Elilee. Funny enough, I am currently running their new Mobius OSPW system on my T1500. The new BLIZE 01 frame from them frame looks very promising and was the radar too. Sadly the language barrier and their lack of any real customer service is a challenge. They aren't setup for the Western world.

To your point - I may just need to hold out for the future of Seka/Elves if I'm not in any rush. Thanks!

EDIT: Pricing for the Elilee BLIZE 01 if I recall is somewhere around $2000usd

That's not been my experience with Elilee so far.  Communication has been excellent - ordered the Novanta crank.  Since they didn't yet have anything below 170mm, I just paid a deposit whilst the factory does a batch of 167.5 (what I wanted).

Not quite as good as Nextie or Speeder, but still very good IMO.

Re: Groupset News
Sensah hydraulic, the hoods are just...

Maybe they subcontracted their design / prototyping to a dildo factory?

Re: Elves Falath EVO 2023
What size is that frame?

I dunno but something looks way off about it. Perhaps it's the angle/slope of the top tube  :(

It's the very short top tube, present in all sizes except 61 which is instead very long ...

Re: Chinese cycling clothes
Do you have a link to these newer stuff ?  :)

From the stuff I've seen that others have bought:  jerseys still crap, newest bibs good - provided the chamois suits you.

Re: Never gravelled before - need suggestions At your weight with the potential also of using it for bikepacking, I'd definitely go steel or Ti.  A few custom Ti builders who do nice, affordable stuff out of China - check the relevant forum section.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Anyone know of a quality Ali alternative to the Altangle travel bike stand clampy thing?  I have an Altangle for home, but would prefer something cheaper for actual travel.

Re: LightCarbon gravel frame with suspension Well they slackened the HTA and steepened the STA a lot from their other frames.   It's a lot like the URS except slacker front end.  But the geo I saw for S and M, even accounting for the STA and HTA makes it very, very long ... nearly 1100 WB and over 580 TT on the M.  They're going to have to be very careful about any extra front end length on the L and XL, or it's going to be unusable except with flat bars (which disconcertingly they showed on the single photo) for most riders.

Rear clearance is 47mm.  Hopefully also in 2x.   They say they're working on a new fork with 50mm clearance.

It has an elastomer damper very like the Wilier / BMC as I speculated.

Also has a storage compartment in the downtube.

This could be great, but I feel like they might be going a little bit too long on the S & M - and the L and XL could be a disaster if they don't take account of how long the smaller sizes already are.

Re: Speeder SC-R48
@zdrenka89 RD is flawless so far still tuning the FD as it's pretty much maxed out with that 52 Tooth ring however I was inspired by two Japanese YouTuber who are riding similar setups :D

That's an old Force FD, right?  I'm surprised it can handle 52 ... usually they struggle with 50.    Everyone I know who's running a mixed drivetrain like that is running Rival FD, or the new Force FD.

Re: ventum ns1 2022 frame clearance
??? ::) That seems to be a bold claim based on some loose logic there... Commenting only on your claim about the 2023 model, and not the one that OP posted about, would you like to share which open mold frame the 2023 model is using, and where to buy it? I'm sure folks in this forum would love an aero frame with clearance for 35c tires and and T47 BB (I'm one of those people). UDH is a nice to have as well. Otherwise, it sounds like a custom mold frame for them... and it sounds like a decent competitor for the Soloist.

Spesh and Trek can keep their prices high cuz they know ppl will buy them given their brand power, because of their marketing... and they also create scarcity in terms of stock.

For market predictions they screwed up on, have you looked at Stumpjumper carbon frameset prices this entire year? You can get one for $1750. Not far off from the final price of a painted and shipped Carbonda FM1001 + rear shock you need to get on your own... the S-Works frames are only a little bit more.

Not open mold, not Chinese, but much better (and cheaper) than Ventum and thankfully no T47.

Ceepo Mamba-R is great ... unfortunately the largest size could do with being a bit bigger for me.  Significantly more aero shape than the NS1, 35mm clearance, BB386.  Reversible seatpost allowing for a lot of positive offset for people who like to get forward and over the bike.  Standard 1.5/1.5 headtube. And the couple I've seen have been extremely clean inside.
