Re: Carbonda FM909
Thanks?  Will any of them do? Some look quite different ...

Also can't find on Hayes' site what the eyelet size of the Mara is, though I'd guess it's the 'standard' 15.
Mara is standard 15mm, though I found mine to be on the high side of tolerance (still fits 15mm but is a tad more loose than others I've had).  The Mara comes with a DU bushing (google "mtb shock DU bushing" for a picture), which I believe Rockshox and Manitou shock hardware make use of.  Fox, for example, provides new bushings with their shock hardware, so you'd have to press out the metal ring with red DU bushing material out of the Mara eyelet.

Found another US based company selling the FM936.  At least it's half the cost as the Boltcutter Groove Pony

Re: lexon frames
From what I can see, Lexon are expensive for what they are. Something like a Seraph is cheaper and an equal lottery?

If you want great quality, Carbonda is a great option.
Seraph's are pretty darn cheap and I had good luck with my hardtail frame.  My buddy cracked his (doing drops and casing jumps on a 100mm hardtail lol) and they responded immediately, he just paid shipping and he a replacement frame in less than a week.  So maybe equal lottery in quality, but they seem to have better customer service.  Can't beat Carbonda, though, in my opinion it's worth spending a bit more for them.

Re: Groupset News Total capacity refers to the amount of slack the cage can take up.  For a 1x, it's max vs min cog, a 9-46t would need 37t capacity.  For a 2x example, an 11-32t with 50/34 chainrings would need (32-11)+(50-34) = (21)+(16) = 37t as well.  What you need to find out is the max cog size.  I would guess that since max cog size isn't listed (in the descriptions I looked up) and it's usually paired with 11-30t or 11-34t cassettes, that it's unlikely to work well with a 46t max cog.  I would rather find a rear derailleur with same pull ratio than use a big drop bracket.

Re: Carbonda FM909
At that video, he removed the metal ring (in the open eyelet).
So, I need to remove metal ring in my sidluxe open eyelet?
The hardware that's all black in your attached picture should not need the metal ring removed, the long tube should press into the metal ring/bushing.  The second picture with the tan plastic stepped bushings would require you to remove the metal ring/bushing.  For reference, Rockshox and Manitou hardware are used with the metal ring/bushing in place, Fox hardware needs the ring/bushing removed.

Re: Carbonda Gravel Carbon frame CFR707 Not sure who you're responding to, but I'll chime in since I've got 630 miles on mine.  I've done a few gravel races (hitting potholes at 20+mph with everyone shoulder to shoulder and nowhere to avoid), a few singletrack trails (including a pretty root filled trail, and hit a 6" rock at speed that was covered by leaves), lots of gravel road exploring and some pothole filled road riding.  Frame and handlebar are still solid and quiet.  No complaints from me.
