Size limit still too small. Every phone out there now has high resolutiin lense. 1mb wont cut it.

See the link above.

Edited:

Bearing was suspected to be pressed in too much. Hence pitted. Will get replacements.

Re: Chinese SC/AM831 Group Buy No news that I know of. I'd honestly be surprised if this deal happened at this point. We'll just leave the thread open just in case. I'll attempt to reach out one more time for an update.

Re: LCFS911 full suspension Hello to all,

My LCFS911 frame arrived last weekend and I'm excited to get working on this. Whilst searching for parts, I stumbled over the possibility to play a bit with the rake / offset of the fork.
Now of course I know that this can be a matter of taste and also that Lightcarbon is suggesting a 51mm offset.

What I'm planning, is a light XC bike for longer trails with only a couple of hills and descends. An occasional mountain trip is always fun, BTW.
So basically, for the rear, a Monarch RL would do. The front is a different story, I'm looking at a 100mm Fox 32 with 44mm offset but I'm unsure.

So here's my question: what fork with what offset are you riding on the LCFS911 and what can you recommend in A) 100/120 and B) offset 44 or 51.

Of course, I'll share some pics of the build. Just as a pre-warning: I'm thinking towards an old Klein paint job for this one.

Thanks all.....

Re: Stumpjumper clone A month ago, I decided to pulled out the trigger and bought one of this at Aliexpress, today the frame arrived and first impressions are quite good:

- Frame came very well packaged and indluded a headset (tapered, integrated type), seatpost clamp (38.6mm clamp for 34.9 seatpost) and even the chain guide; sadly it didnt include the axle
- Hardware looks just like the original stumpy (each bolt, linkages, derailleur hanger, etc) it came a little loose and bearings are not the greatest
- Cable routing follows the original stumpy but have no internal tubing (need to fish out the cables)
- Dimensions/geo numbers are much alike the 2019 stumpy (non EVO version)
- Came with the 95mm/98mm yoke (for up to 150mm travel), max shock size seems to support a 210mm shock
- Water bottle mount is just a little higher than the original stumpy
- Shock hardware seems to use 21.8mm x 8mm for the top (actual bolt is 6mm but they include a spacer for 8mm), still figuring out the bottom as it seems to require either the actual flip chip (there are grooves in the yoke which seems to match) or some sort of customization of the hardware (actual spacing ~14.5mm)

My OG-Evkin CF-052 (FM699) build w/ 60% AliExpress parts Hey guys!
I want to show you my OG-Evkin CF-052.
Last year the idea of getting a MTB sparked up, living in an area with lots of nice woods. Checking the used bike market wasn't very satisfying, and neither were the <800€ new bike options. After seeing how cheap carbon hardtail frames are (especially compared to road bike frames) it was obvious to me that I had to build up a MTB myself.
My choice was the OG-Evkin CF-052 frame, because it's quite popular in the german forums.

The goal for the initial build was to keep it around 10kg and below 1000€. My excel spreadsheet came out at 10176g, but that was without the paint, pedals and some small stuff like the headset or cable outers.
Measured on my bathroom scales the bike weighs 10.8kg now, with some very basic pedals.
I also missed the financial goal. I had spend 997€ when I found out that the BB supplied with the crankset was BSA only, and not working with my BB92 frame. After a BB92 and some small parts I'm now at ~1015€.

Now to the specsheet

Frame: OG-Evkin CF-052 in size L + OG-Evkin QR-02 axle
Paint: Mini C15 Jungle Green with some extra gold pearls
BB: Threaded ZTTO BB92
Fork: Rockshox Reba RL A6 110mm w/ Rockshox Maxle (used from Ebay)
Wheelset: "Roval"? Non-Boost 2060g 21mm wide (used from Ebay)
Front tire: Continental CrossKing 2.3 RS
Rear tire: Continental Raceking 2.2 RS
Tubes: Schwalbe SV 19A Extralight
Stem: ZTTO 60mm 7°
Handlebar: ZTTO XM 720mm Aluminium
Grips: Procraft Diamond Pro
Crankset: Fovno Ghost 175mm 36T
Groupset: LTWOO AX12
Cassette: ZTTO 12speed 11-50
Chain: KMC X12
Seatpost: Elita One but it broke on the first ride (Picture), so I ordered a Toseek now, with a better seat clamp
Saddle: SSM Aspide Superleggara AliExpress clone, but that broke on the second ride, probably damaged when the seatpost broke (Picture
 2  3)
Pedals: Some very basic Marwi Union cage pedals (I ordered some En-Lee platform pedals)
Brakes: Shimano Deore BR-M6100
Brake discs: "Avid G3" 160mm from AliExpress
Bottle cages: 16g Carbon ones from AliExpress

Short term upgrades will be a new seat post and pedals, which I've already ordered. I also need a new saddle, but I'm pretty unsure which one to get.

And long term upgrades are:
- Carbon wheelset
- Going tubeless
- Fully integrated carbon handlebar
- And maybe a dropper post
