Re: Airwolf YFR068 - 2023 Gravel Frame I've come across this too, also on Ali. Seems pretty new though, so I don't know if any one has it. I'm debating on taking the plunge, but I'm not keen on paying for bar and stem--i'd like to use my own.

It matches the Aspero in size 51 as well.

The Airwolf YFR066 also looks interesting. Not sure which is prefer.

Re: Airwolf YFR068 - 2023 Gravel Frame Some back and forth with the manufacturer has told me a few things. The cable routing is fully internal, in the same way that the Aspero-5 is. That means that the steerer tube is D shaped, and for that reason, you can't order it without their stem, since it is made to fit the steerer. I'm sure you could use your own stem, however.

The fork also has flip-chips. It might be the case that they only have a single fork across all sizes, unlike the Aspero itself. I'm thinking this might be the case, because I asked for the fork offset, and was only given a single set of measurements (46mm and 51mm). Haven't confirmed it explicitly, though. You'd be good to go if you ride a size 54 and up.

Re: LTWOO RX hydro sets
I also wish they'd start selling the hydraulic components separately, I don't really need the derailleurs. Ltwoo stuff works with the Shimano 11/12 speed pull ratio.

This seller has them separately. There is also a 10sp version now, about 100CAD cheaper than 12sp.

Re: Onirii hydraulic flat mount brakes
I bought this calipers this week. If they look good I'll swap out my ltwoo brakes.

Nothing performance wrong with the ltwoo. I just don't like how much they weight and look. Everyone weighs the ltwoo without brackets which is wrong. With flat mount calipers you can mount without brackets but ltwoo you must use brackets.

Interestingly enough, this seller is now selling the groupsets with the Zrace brakes instead of the lt-woo ones. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005385555775.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000014.8.22e1d7dfrfkZ3R&gps-id=pcDetailBottomMoreOtherSeller&scm=1007.40050.281175.0&scm_id=1007.40050.281175.0&scm-url=1007.40050.281175.0&pvid=1bf7f486-3de1-4d6f-9a7f-d2579f33918a&_t=gps-id:pcDetailBottomMoreOtherSeller,scm-url:1007.40050.281175.0,pvid:1bf7f486-3de1-4d6f-9a7f-d2579f33918a,tpp_buckets:668%232846%238110%231995&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%2212000032839479096%22%2C%22sceneId%22%3A%2230050%22%7D&pdp_npi=3%40dis%21CAD%21617.98%21432.58%21%21%21%21%21%40210312cc16804722848118866e46d0%2112000032839479096%21rec%21CA%214261068451

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! So this hub apparently has 696 points of engagement. Huge flange diameter in the rear. It should build a stiff wheel laterally. KOCEVLO RD690 Road DISC Brake Straightpull Hub 24 hole 696 points of engagement drive system ENDURO Bearing| | - AliExpress

It's also sold by other brands it seems, Goldix included. Goldix actually builds a wheelset around them, and claimed weight is 1350g for the pair in 40mm depth. If the quality is good, that's a pretty good deal for something that only cost 825 CAD. Free returns, too, at least here in Canada.

Re: Current Wheelset Offerings for Climbing I built up a set of 30mm deep wheels for about 400USD. It weighs around 1120g. I can't quite give a verdict yet as I don't have many kilometres on it yet. So if you're willing to source some lesser known parts from ali, you can build something pretty light for pretty cheap.

Re: Current Wheelset Offerings for Climbing

Did you build them yourself? I haven't made it down that avenue yet, but I'd love to. I started building a diy truing stand a while back. Now might be the time.

Yeah, I did build them myself. Probably not as true as can be, since my truing stand is just my bike with zip ties...

Re: Groupset News
And some more interesting Sensah news that I missed - they're currently testing (looks close to release) a 12 speed version of the Team Pro shifters that work on the same pull ratio as the existing 11 speed gear.

https://twitter.com/thundervolt2/status/1712774126149251371

These are rim-brake shifters, and in the comments on this post, the rep says that they may make a small batch for hydraulic levers as well.

Nice to see another 12-speed rim brake option out there - handy for those who want to keep drivetrain spares the same across bikes.

So I asked the Sensah store on Ali when they might be selling these shifters. Something was lost in translation but their message suggests that they are also developing a derailleur with shimano 11 speed pull ratio.

Re: Converting rim brakes wheels to disc brakes Yup the rim would be compatible. But you might be better off just buying a disc wheelset, unless you're willing to build the wheelset yourself.
