Re: Pinarello (Chinarello) Dogma F12 build
What is the max tire size it can take ?

I don't know but it looks like 32mm. The current is 28,5 mm with a lot of space.

Re: obmbicycle.com / Taiwan carbon factory store
I ordered from obmbicycle.com and I'm worried that they are also the same people as "allbestbicycle" which has reports of being scammed on Facebook.

If others are worried they can simply choose to buy from the Aliexpress store.

I managed to contact one of the guys on Facebook that says it's a scam. Frame was sent but not delivered. It's more a logistic issue. Dpd is a bit weird since it's not shown until Europe.

Those scam reports can also be working for Pinarello and try to scare people away.

Re: obmbicycle.com / Taiwan carbon factory store
That's a good looking bike. Did you get those 50mm Roval wheels from them as well? What hub are you using? Looks like they are centerlock?

No they come from Sun-bike store on Aliexpress. Very nice and light with 1420 spokes, novatec 411/412 hubs. I didn't choose centerlock since my other bike have 6 bolt. But the disc's wasn't possible to use anyway so I bought XT 160mm disc instead of Ultegra. Just a few grams lighter.

Re: Pinarello (Chinarello) Dogma F12 build
can u summarize any issues youve had so far and how its riding?

I only have 200km on it and the indoor season started instead. No bikefit has been done.

No issues but good to know:
It is very stable steering compared with my cx so GP5000 TL 28mm gives a feel of understeer. I want lighter tyres but don't know what. P Zero SL 26mm maybe.

You should cut away som carbon where your cables run around the bottom bracket. It was sharp. I put my cables inside foam too just to be safe.

Some carbon is still left in the head tube. You can hear the brake hose touching it if you turn over 90 degrees and back again.

Very few torque specifications but some can be found.

Re: Pinarello (Chinarello) Dogma F12 build 1764km on it so far. I noticed that I forgot to put loctite on the rear hanger, it started to shift weird so that was found at 1000km service.
Some air was trapped inside the front brake hose so I had to bleed it after i let the bicyle lie on the ground.
I think both headset bearing sits a bit too loose so I added one lap of thin 0,1mm tape on them. Now I only need 2nm to set the headset.
GP5000 TL 28mm was replaced with GP 5000 STR 25mm. They feel much better since they are lighter but I did lost comfort on bad tarmac. Usually runs 80/82psi front/rear but I can go down to 72/76 if I want. After that I think it feels loose in the corners.
Added Assioma duo on it since the build too, very nice to measure power.
Ordered Garmin Varia RTL 515 radar too it.
I do have some weird sound on the lowest gears if I put out more than 250w. Carbon like. Some friends says that carbon is never quiet so it might be okay.
Still using 52/36 with 11-30 so the lowest cogs isn´t much used.
It is worth to mention that it is a bit harsh on bumpy roads.
Aero frame comes to use above 30km/h I would say, it´s really going on rails then.

Re: Pinarello (Chinarello) Dogma F12 build 4000km has passed. I bought new wheels from Sun Bike Store again with centerlock disc and Novatec 411/412 hubs.
https://www.aliexpress.com/store/5892539?spm=a2g0o.store_pc_home.pcShopHead_1262077414.0

11-30 was changed to 11-28 instead, i miss 16T though so I might move to 11-25 one day.
I can lower tyre pressure with those compared with Roval so I run 4,0/4,2kg front and rear now on rough tarmac. Around 5kg on smoth tarmac.
Lower headset bearing has been replaced after I broke it when I tried to remove it from the frame.
It´s a good bike and the aero comes in place after 30km/h. It does feel soft around 50km/h when gusty sidewinds hit me, i guess this frame isn´t that stiff in torsional load. But very good when climbing and sitting. Total weight is 8kg as it is on the picture with GP5000 STR 25mm and 40ml fluid in each tyre.

Re: Advice on fake frames
Going by the impeccable quality of my DogmaF from ali,

Do you have a build thread to share?

Re: Consensus on replica frames ??
If not illegal, it's tacky.
I think the regular bike prices have been tacky. You will soon have to be a millionare to buy a road bike.

Re: Consensus on replica frames ??
entry bikes going for 4/5K, considering stocks are up I think prices will get slashed soon.
I built my F12 replica with 454 nsw replica wheels, hydraulic disc ultegra di2 and assioma duo pedals for around 4200 USD.
An original bike would be like 4K with mechanic 105 and alloy wheels instead for the same price.
My CX was built for 1500 USD, same bike is like 4K today. It was very easy to justify the replica in my case for sure.
