The IIIPro E4 hyd. brake set I ordered Nov 2rd arrived yesterday. I temporarily installed the front brake on my latest build. (It will be several months before this bike hits the road) From my perspective, the caliper's body and hydraulic handle body are very good CNC'd single-piece units. They appear to be of good quality. Due to the post about the "caliper flex" I measured the gap between sides of the cylinder then applied as much force as I could on the brake lever, and with the pressure applied, took a second measurement. No deflection measured. (Unless the Calipers can become really hot and then expand/deflect, I didn't see any flexing on the brake cylinder body. Edit: I had a problem where no matter how I tried, I could not get the brake lever/clamp to fit onto my 22.22mm OD Carbon bars. I ended up having to slightly slot the hole that mounts the clamp by .003in outwards. Then all fit well. November 20, 2022, 03:46:54 PM |

Sensah CRX Pro 11-Speed
Hey folks, relatively new to this forum, but thought I would share an article I put together about my experience with the Sensah CRX Pro drivetrain. https://www.experiencedgear.net/home/crxpro Overall, I think its a pretty good buy, and next steps are to test the system out with a more ergonomic shifter from either Shimano or Sram, as I believe the cable pulls between all three should be the same. ...Says they're winding the rims with T1000 which is quite a lot stiffer than other manufacturers advertise.. I have a bad news. Some things you read on the internet may not be true

Sensah has a new rear derailleur for the SRX group with a (supposedly) stronger clutch like chain tensioner. Anyone have more info on it? Had one on order that just arrived today, the new clutch looks good at first sight. Will replace the original derailleur on my gravel bike to see how well it works in real life....
