Re: Tideace FM-CR060 New Mold Gravel Frame 700*47C
Got the frame today. The frame arrived after about 10 days with painting. I did a quick mock up to see if there was any issues. Took bunch of pictures hopefully I can get them on the site. Bars are measured from the drops not the with of the hoods. I ordered the smallest size 500x100 bars. The hood mount distance come to about 44-46 wide. So you really need to setup the hoods angled inward. Handlebars have an aluminum sleeve. Should really take this into consideration may want the standard road bars. Rear brake caliper barely fits setup as 140 with the br002 model. Fork spacers are plastic. Paint look awesome to me. The finish for the bearing mounts looks good. Fork looks good around the cable feed. All accessories came and a tideance bottom bracket guard that I can be stick on. Frame 1266 Fork 446 handlebars 406 seatpost 208 I expect the bike to come in at about 19lbs with sensah. Probably 19.5lbs with my shimano r685 shifters and ultegra rx rear. These weight setups are as my full gravel. Think in road setup about 17.1. June 20, 2022, 09:05:52 PM |

Re: Onirii M2 and M4 hydraulic disc brakes
They arrived today, and my, they are pretty. ordered on the 2nd June, so 22 days to the door (UK) They came in a air pocket pack, no box, but all fine and no damage. front came fully bled and set up, rear came with the caliper attached to the hose, and the lever separate, plus a bag of gubbins. they'll go on my tame trails bike, less chance of me killing myself if they fail. I'll update when I've got them fitted. June 24, 2022, 07:24:09 AM |

Re: Elite Wheels - Hubs Question & Tubeless vs Clincher
Having almost no flats, and lower pressure for comfort are worth the small effort even for pure road riding. Got my first tubeless puncture today. I say puncture, because it didn't result in a flat. I now realize the importance of distinguishing between a flat and a puncture. The hole was slightly too big for the sealant to stop Added a plug and a bit of air, and I was off. Re: L-TWOO RX 2x12 road groupset
New Sensah hoods New material and molding process that should hopefully hold up better than the old ones Black, White, Blue, Red and Brown color options You can tell them apart at the bottom. The new ones have a grooved pattern underneath while the old ones are smooth. Regarding Sensah hydraulic brakes, people are now saying that they'll come in October... June 24, 2022, 03:19:46 PM |

Re: Carbonda Gravel Carbon frame CFR707
Just received my 707 in RAL 1003. It will be a slow build but just so folks can see the frame. Signal Yellow with Pearl. Looks awesome.

Re: My experience with Velobuild wheels and requesting after sales support.
Now it's my turn to reach out to VB. Don't ride that bar. What you can see are paint cracks, but those kind of paint cracks develop due to excessive flex in the carbon beneath - which means that if there isn't already a crack in the carbon, there soon will be. Cracks don't snake like that if brittle paint gets dinged. Something is rotten with the bar itself. June 28, 2022, 03:59:10 PM |

Re: Onirii M2 and M4 hydraulic disc brakes
That's a decent breakdown of them. there are quite a few sharp edges, some need a bit of buffing, mainly those that are in contact with the bars, to prevent point pressure. The calipers have a rough finish on the inside around the pistons. Although I never thought it would be that much of a problem. they're cheap brakes, it's a hidden area. he reported caliper flex is a bit worrying, can't say I'd noticed it in use, but....I'd not really looked. I'll need to keep an eye on that, if it looks like it's flexing more than it should I'll def need to watch out for cracking. The comment about the lever piston diameter is interesting, admittedly it's not something I'd considered as most manufacturers for their mainstream brakes, I thought got piston seals in x size, so make the pistons to suit! there are notable exceptions, I guess. It's not that they lack power, they don't deliver it in the same way as a servo wave brake. Over the next few rides I'm going to try a few different things, one of which will be swap out shimano levers onto the caliper, and shimano caliper onto the z race levers and see if each end behaves differently to stock. plus look at what impact fitting better hose has. the stock hose is really flexible. Lightcarbon LCG071-D Build
Recently upgraded my primary gravel bike (CruX) to AXS components so I had this perfectly good sram force1 mechanical group just sitting around. Decided to purchase a Lightcarbon “monster” gravel frame with integrated bars. First off, all communications with Wendy at Lightcarbon were detailed, prompt, and informative. Took about 3 weeks from order date to having the frame at my doorstep in Michigan. Built the bike up completely with spare parts around my little bike mechanic area (had to buy bottom bracket and the 700x50c tires) The bike currently has red cannondale stickers on it as I had those laying around my shop and wanted to get an idea of how the red/black theme would look. New custom red Lightcarbon decals are ordered and expected any day. Have about 400 miles on the bike so far and absolutely love it. Crisp handling, stiff and responsive yet quite compliant on rough and loose/rocky gravel. My CruX is notably faster at similar watts, however, the Lightcarbon would be my choice for a ride lasting longer than 3-3.5 hours. Excited to get the bike on some single track soon.
