added the tool purchase list for a first time builder like me.

Regarding the frame, apparently some production delay. I have been looking at a few alternatives and may move to one of these should  a good deal come up in during the 11/11 sales almost tempted to move to a 100-120mm full suspension but it moves the budget up quite a bite, at least another $500

So I got a replacement crankset for this bike, however it didn’t come with the screw for the chainring, I know it’s M5, unsure of length, is it somewhat of a standard?

I have the TX ready to be mounted, it looks and feel very good. Not sure what could be better for $50. Cassette I went to sroad/spedao as it seems a relatively popular choice, I saw some good feedback on ztto too.

So I ended installé à Shimano tx30 shifter, so much easier for him compare to revoshift, install was straight forward.
I also got a crankset but not yet installed:
