I have used the Gr2 with an AXS XX1 rear derailleur and an e-thirteen 9-50 cassette with no issues. I used a different bottom bracket than the one it shipped with because I had a higher quality one on hand.

Kingstop works for me with a few different types of brakes.

I have the Zniino carbon gravel bars and taken them out for a few rides with not issues. One was the initial shake-down on some walkways and through various city areas. The second went on fire road type areas with mild rock gardens. No issues with them in either area. Adding small extenders on the horns/area in front of the brake mounts opens up additional hand positions.  Originally I ordered the 720 width but decided to go smaller. If someone wants the 720s I can make a great deal.

Some videos on reddit of a guy using the bars - and having his dogs along. https://www.reddit.com/r/gravelcycling/comments/wchjbq/bikejoring_two_dogs/

No experience with the finned pads. However, the Kingstop pads have worked well with several different calipers that I tried them on.

Any additional updates? I have a set of 4 pots on the way to try out. Installing a banjo bolt and bleed nipple are on the list of things to test.

Cyclocross Frames, Wheels & Components / Mullet shifting for gravel

Does anyone have good experiences with a mullet (road levers, MTB derailleur) in 12x?  If so, which components did you go with?

Yep - those are the ones.  Amazon often has them for the same price as Ali

The Rockbros that look like the Oneup pedals have done well for me.  QC in assembly isn't that great.  Before install take them apart and make sure the nut is on the axle properly / regrease.

I have been looking for something similar as a build.  It sems that this year the integrated carbon stem/bars for gravel are getting wider - 540mm+.  https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2251832866385525.html is a complete gravel frame as a reference.  Lightcarbon, Haideli, and others have a variant on this with a different seat post clamping structure.

http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,2837.msg20146.html#msg20146 has a build a few years back which used a non-boost MTB frame.

At the far end on geometry is the Nukeproof Digger.  It isn't Chinese carbon but it provides a good reference point for geometry. https://nukeproof.com/products/2022-digger

Have you considered something like the Surly Corner Bar for the handlebars?  There is a Chinese carbon version of those out - it will give some hand position options and let you keep your existing levers and shifters.

Frames have such a wide variance in geometry/sizing/price - what size are you looking for?  Any price range?

Adding an option for external cabling (going in the down tube instead of through stem) would make other handlebars useful.

You can get a screw together BB that works in the press-fit shell.  Wheels MFG makes very nice ones.  ZTTO has ones that are ok - mixed experiences with the bearings but they are cheap/easy to swap out.  https://ztto.aliexpress.com/store/group/BB386-PF30/1101423688_513462284.html
