What is the plan for those in North America?
I agree with the previous comments, why isn't the admin dealing with this?

Hi,

I think I should change the size of my order from M to S. I'm 5'8". The Santa Cruz hightower sizing chart recommends M for 5'5"-5'9" = Haideli S. My current 120mm travel bike has a 460 seat tube and 593 top tube and fits OK.

How is everyone else determining the size to get?

I'm interested but I have never seen an "OBM" or "All Star" bicycle before. The OBM reviews on aliexpress are not good.
All star does not look any better.

That being said, I would really like to see a build with this frame  ;).

So I'm guessing Eddy and the other folks over at Haideli are waaaaaaayyy too busy trying to keep up with their large client demand to work on their side projects. So it could be a while before we hear more from this. I'm going to be patient, and if it takes so long that this is no longer a 'buy', then that's too bad but it's the way it is at the moment.

You made some good points! Demand is crazy high this year! I'm just hoping it will be available by next spring.

26er & 27.5 (650b) / Re: 27.5er carbon FS build

You might notice that the frames are advertised as 27.5+/29er. There are some things that you can do to convert to 27 wheels - bigger fork, use 2.6" tires, use offset bushings in the shock, use shorter cranks. I'm using 170mm cranks (from 175mm), one offset bushing, 2.6 tires, and 130mm fork on a 29er spec'd for a 100mm fork. Just pay attention to the axle to crown length.

I'm a bit confused about how offset bushing help. It is my understanding they lower the BB. I figure you want to raise the BB when using smaller wheels. Here is my reference: https://www.offsetbushings.com/pages/how-they-work

26er & 27.5 (650b) / Would you buy ICAN AC156 in 2020?
« on: August 15, 2020, 08:15:17 PM »
Hi,

It's pretty hard to find a modern 27.5 (non-plus) FS frame.

I found the The ICAN AC156 from stradalli cycles https://stradalli.com/

The geometry is a bit dated by today's standards, it's non-boost and external cable routing.

Would you get the AC156 or a more modern 29er frame?

Are there paint codes or reference material for the standard 14 colours?
