Yes, I contacted them this week regarding 505 and the have it available... But, the shipping is rather expensive!

Did you consider the FM-606 ?
https://www.flybike-asia.com/product/153.html

Strangely the 707 isn't on their site anymore (or I didn't find it)

... I only got a few km on it. Let’s see when I hit the first pot hole.. or maybe before? Let’s gamble :P

It looks like the EC90 one with another cut out and sone holes.
You gave the saddle weight, but to gamble on it we need your weight too  ;D

...Happy to take questions if you have any, thank you...

Did you dismantle them?
To see if they have the same axle as Shimano.
And then maybe find titanium axle for an upgrade  8)

... I just saw that Campagnolo Record 12spd groupset is also available in a mechanical disc brake...

Mechanical is only for the shifters apparently.
The disc brakes are hydraulic.
https://www.campagnolo.com/WW/en/Groupsets/mechanical_groupsets_for_racing_bicycles

Or do you plan to use the rim brake version shifters coupled with disc callipers ?

Dura ace is forged carbon and never one seen be in a thousand pieces  ::) What kind of riding do you do smashing your pedals on a road bike  :o
I didn't know carbon could be forged.
"Forged carbon was created jointly between Lamborghini and the Callaway Golf Company in the mid-2000s"  :o

I ride Time pedals with Ti spindles, they are mainly plastic, I replaced the body after 2 years, as they were quite beaten up. My MTB and gravel die soon too, but you're right on a road bike, I need to check my style :D

If it works great this is definitely something to consider.

Thanks for sharing.
Even more if they come with a Ti spindle !
However carbon is not very good at receiving hits, and my pedals by their look seem to get quite a few.

Oh god, please post pictures. Bad feedback from ICAN i wouldn't expect from such a well known brand... >:(

Well... a rule for shipping, if the box is damaged, as excited as you may be, you refuse the package.
Or you make the courier/postman wait while you open the box to see how it looks inside.
ICAN doesn't have anything to do with that.

I was wondering if something like pure silicone lube (without petrol) would work to make the regular cables work smoother?
Maybe dust will get mixed in there over time, build up and clog the hose.
Rubbing it with paraffin or add some graphite powder might be better.
Personally I would keep them dry.

This chart didn't exist, and Peter told me 3" would be ok, so it was safe at that time ;)

What headset/stem system did you use?
I tried the Jagwire housing and there was too much friction inside the stem, to get JuinTech brakes to open back, after braking.
I tried the FSA ACR and the Deda superbox.
I finally ordered a Ritchey top headset with holes to pass the cable in front of the fork steerer, it should arrive this week.

Isn't a 3" tyre too wide for a 35-40mm rim?  I would have thought 2.6 or 2.8 would have been the widest that rim would take.

A friend who rides a 496, has 3" tires on 36mm/42mm rims, since 2017

... It is a bit strange that the fork required the disc adapter set to 140 mm even though I am using 160 mm rotors, perhaps you could use 180 mm rotors if you wanted? ...

The Carbonda gravel 707 frame is the same.
I'm finishing a build with 180 front/160 rear

Dont know. Ns uses a different linkage and a different rear triangle. I looked as if he couldn't tell more. We have to wait.
I personally don't think it will be that different with what I'm currently running: 165x42.5...
Please don't tell us it is great, or we will all have to upgrade   ;)

i've fallen for the "30mm tire clearance" thing too many times... wish it would just be 32 and be done with it!

I ride the original one with an incredibly comfortable 28mm tires on 32mm rims, I would never go back to narrower tires/rims anymore.

Isn't it the right time to consider the tubeless option ?  8)
