What country are you in? To a northern EU country it's 660€ currently.

I'm from Lithuania. Keep in mind that once youngo to the checkout, VAT value is deducted from the price

IMO, Elitewheel Edge. Not the cheapest, but they're 555€ shipped right now due to sales, which is insane value for 50mm wheels that weight less than 1400 grams.

I ordered 2, because why get 1 when you can get 2? :D
Yet to be shipped to me.

When did you order your frames? My frame hasn't been shipped yet either, not sure what's the usual time as it is first time I purchase a frame from AliExpress

Also.. That stack is bit scary. Tarmac already has geometry on aggressive side and this bike has even lower stack

Haha I was thinking the same! I reached out to them regarding the 1088 a few weeks back and they said they would not sell it to individual customers.

Interesting, when I wrote them last week, the reply I got was "R1088-D size 53, it's only in China stock right now.", which indicates that the frame is available to customers, at least in certain sizes IMO?

It's a different rotor

Those are rebadged ZRace rotors and selling for cheaper than what ZRace sells them for. Though they're a bit heavy for 160mm rotors.

I've been using these Onirii rotors. I just weighed them last night and they weigh 102g for rotor + 7g for lock ring.

https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804989446940.html

The Onirii stuff has been really top notch. I ended up buying a 2nd pair rotors for one of my road bike after good experiences with the 1st pair I tried on my other road bike.

At the price of ZRace rotors I'd just buy genuine Sram Centerlock... Brakes are one place where being cheap or trying to save weight is legit dangerous.

With that said, I'm interested in these floating rotors as they have steel braking surface, alloy fins (no metal sandwich as seen on Shimano Shitetech tho) and cost 18€ shipped (although there might be additional cost in order to run these with centerlock wheels)  https://www.aliexpress.us/item/1005001547957941.html

Plenty of discounts and discount codes this week in AliExpress

Maybe it would be a good idea to make a new thread with compilation of deals of the on going sale? Hygge frame only shows 20€ off coupon, but some items seem to have a nice discount (i.e. Elitewheels Edge wheelset is around 540€ shipped)

Make sure that size L isn't too big for you - I'm 178cm tall and I'd choose between size S and M depending on how aggressive the fit is. Overall, I believe it is the same mold as Rinasomething that some people have reviewed on YouTube, including Patrick Lino (just keep in mind same mold does not equal same quality)

Can you measure actual stack of the frame? I've been playing around with bikegeo.net and it calculates significantly shorterr stack for some of Yoshun frames (including R086 and R068). In the case lf R068, dofference is 15mm, which makes me wonder if Yishun lists the stack with headset cocer included. Other measurements like reach, front centre are in line

Using MTB for price comparison isn't a great idea as the frameset doesn't actually include fork, which is going to add another 300-400 bucks to the cost

As for Ventum frame.. I'd pass - tried googling the brand and few people who had actually tried the bike were not impressed.

Edit: upon further investigation, I did find people who were happy with their purchase as well. I don't think these are open mold frames, but I still wouldn't purchase one

Hard to take them seriously when there isn't even a geometry chart. Zero adjustability. Shipping got to be more expensive too, as the box ought to be bigger because of the one piece fork / bars? Ofc, they make zero aero claims. The 4k is for a full bike though, i m sure they can sell framesets.
Another area of skepticism: T1000 everywhere. I haven't seen anybody claim to do full T1000 rims. And several factories confirmed to me that when a frame says T1000, it's, at best, that it includes SOME T1000 in the mix (usually w T800).
If the whole thing is T1000, it looks like the spokes are carbon, could well be incredibly harsh to ride.
I have zero desire to find out myself :)

Yeah, it's price for a while bike, not just frameset. I view this bike more of a novelty item, something you buy to make a statement.

Communicating with Melinda regarding this frameset, it's available from their Germany warehouse/hub, so it is 669€. + 50 for shipping + paypal fees. The Hygge Model S is roughly 110€ cheaper and comes with a nice paintjob, but I'm leaning towards build quality a d geometry of Yishun

Looks very clean. How was the build experience with this frame?
