I slapped 32c semi-slicks on a 2nd wheelset and put them on my G056/RF25 frame. In this configuration, it makes for a nimble all-arounder/commuter type bike with a 38t + 9-46t cassette. I did try some really skinny road tires, but they looked funny. 32c tires are probably as narrow as I'd go on this frame!

So it’s plug and play with the rest of the V1 components?

I’m interested to hear how you go with this!

Should be. LTwoo is mostly cross-compatible across the board with components.

Having problems getting seatpost+LTWOO battery with holder inserted into seat tube. It's too tight, I think because of the extra bulk of the plastic holder.
Also using tape to keep it all together. Not sure why LTWOO doesn't use lock-by-turn plugs so that they don't fall out when pulling out. Also the SPcycle holder is too small for the LTWOO battery at least--bulges and barely stays in on its own, thus the tape.
May have to eventually just drop the battery down, maybe put a hook on it so I can fish it out later when needed.
SP's is same design as this, but perhaps smaller inner diameter: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806263308565.html?srcSns=sns_Copy&spreadType=socialShare&bizType=ProductDetail&social_params=61037813780&aff_fcid=4350288e93874124bdb22eeb346858b1-1743382845315-08905-_EIdKITI&tt=MG&aff_fsk=_EIdKITI&aff_platform=default&sk=_EIdKITI&aff_trace_key=4350288e93874124bdb22eeb346858b1-1743382845315-08905-_EIdKITI&shareId=61037813780&businessType=ProductDetail&platform=AE&terminal_id=aa57a25db6e94e51a95f1e5c026e8ccb&afSmartRedirect=y&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt

Feel free to read some of my earlier posts on this thread in regards to using the ER9 and fitting the battery holder in the R088. My solution was tying 2 long pieces of ribbon string on each end of the ER9 battery holder. Using ribbon string works the best because it stay buoyant with the string sliding straight into the seat post when set in place. I also used the mechanical hole for the FD battery cable since it was easier to position the cables towards the bottom bracket making it easier to fish out the battery from the seat tube for any maintenance issues. It was also necessary to trim the seat post a few centimeters to fit both the seat post and ER9 battery at least for my size 52cm frame. The seat tube is snug enough that the battery doesn't move, my seat post is at the right height and the battery can be pulled out easily with no problems.

Private message me if you need any help!  ;)

FYI - This is the message I wrote for the DEFINITIVE way to fit an ER9 battery into the R088 frameset!

It could be several things. I had an issue like this, turned out the bottom bracket wasn't properly tightened. I'd double check the BB first to make sure it's torque properly before assuming it's the wheelset or cassette. If you have access to a different wheelset and cassette, I'd try swapping parts around. If the creaking is still happening, I'd check the seat post if has ample carbon paste and seat post clamp is secure.

The crown race isn't needed on the R088. I have a few frame forks like this, so it's not a big issue.

It's also been almost a year running ER9 on two bikes as well (using dielectric grease and sealing the plugs with rubber cement glue). So far they've been working fine. I had a few battery related bugs, but those issues have been ironed out. My only other issue is that my FD cages are showing heavy brassing. Unlike Shimano, LTwoo doesn't provide skid plates. In comparison my Shimano FD cages look immaculate even after heavy use.

I recently picked up this wind vest. Quality is surprisingly good with solid stitching and an excellent double zipper. Highly recommended for the price.

2 weeks to 1 month for all my framesets. Though the big fear now is if and when de minimis will be implemented. If it happens during mid shipment, you'll be slapped with a fat tariff (who am I kidding, it's a tax)!

Balugoe just released slightly narrower flared gravel bars that go down to 34cm at the hoods and 400mm at the drops. They also have regular 36cm and up sizes as well.

There are also these Zniino gravel bars with 34cm hoods and 460mm drops. These are the ones I'm currently using. Though the drops are much more shallow.

I just realized ZRace was already posting about the LTwoo eTX back in November 2024 on Chinese social media! I didn't even notice it. I could have given all of you the advance notice last year!  :D

Does anyone know if there's a china version of fidlock already? a link would be highly appreciated.

I use these magnetic water bottles on my gravel bike. Trail grit in my area severely scratches up regular water bottle with standard cages. These magnetic bottles seem to work alright. I only had one instance where the bottle jumped off the frame riding down a staircase. Though I haven't had any issues yet on trail conditions. Fidlocks are probably better, but they should be for the higher cost. Also I'm not sure if the plastic if these bottles are BPA free!  ;D

If anyone is using 3 bolt cranksets and have clearance issues with 2x chainrings and front derailleurs, I'm using this offset Pass Quest spacer. I prefer it over using BB spacers. It doesn't alter my chainring alignment, it only offsets the drive side crank arm to be slightly outboard. It also allows the use of more common torx T25 screws for 6 bolt disc rotors.

Update: GCN video shows the TT brake levers have buttons and can work with the new MTB RD

I was really surprised GCN is taking the time to showcase LTwoo hardware. I guess times are changing!

This listing has total capacity listed as 50t. So I'm guessing they just secretly put a longer RD cage without telling anyone!

I bought an additional wheeltop groupset just because I needed the 50T capacity  ::) ah well.

I was super tempted to get one of those discounted Wheeltop GeX groupsets on AliEx just for the 50t. Though if LTwoo is going full wireless with the MTB eTX, I might just go with that since I do like LTwoo's app fine-tuning.
