That's my one issue with LTwoo, they're all over the place when it comes to their hardware revisions. For example, I have 2 ER9 groupsets and they're running separate firmwares most likely due to having different internal hardware.
This issue is not specific to LTwoo, it applies to China in general. I even experienced this working in the electronics industry, Chinese are not afraid to change or to innovate.
But it appears this is happening randomly and opportunistic, without clear strategy and no documentation, information & transparency for customers.
Just look at RideNow TPU tubes, several versions from black to transparent to black/pink valve stems.
Or the various headset iterations for the famous C compression ring from Velobuild.
Selling is one aspect of the business, but supporting everything that you have sold is another level that Chinese seem to have limited consciousness of.
