Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: Yishun R086-D Aero Road

but I'd rather wait for your review @Patrick Lino.
Any idea as to when you might publish it?
It's the "generic" frame which can make me spent money too.
This frame is already used by some brands and you can find reviews :

So, like Patrick said, you basically need to add 3cm to the stack figure of a given frame size. That is where the cockpit goes - one piece or not.
Reach will also be shorter; probably between 1cm and 1.5cm to remove.

Hello can you confirm that the heat tube lenght is measured without the headset cover and the special spacer for integration?

How many centimeters do you need to add with the cover and spacer installed?

I wouldn't say  so. I didn't like my spexcel bibs at all, but after giving another even cheaper brand a try (darevie) I'm sold. They are easily better than my castelli set. There are bargains, but sometimes a brand won't fit you and that's okay.
I'm also surprised you went for S at 1m75, even in western brands you're probably a M
Yes i'm using M with western size but according to the dimensions compared to what i used, the S size for spexcel bib was the correct one. They were pretty long like what you can see now with pros.
this set ->https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/32806414878.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.68.523b5e5bpQ0l4I&gatewayAdapt=glo2fra

I'm also using two Racmmer jerseys in S.
M would be a bit too long for me and not fit enough.

They are pretty decent but not enough ventilated so a bit hot for a summer jersey if you are sensible of warmth.
The multicolored one has pretty much longest sleeves.

At a discounted price it's a good deal ^^

I ordered two sets of spexcel bib+jersey. According to the dimensions chart i went on S for 1,75m.

Bibs were tight and long, probably too tight if you have very big legs.
Jersey are too small so i never used them.

About bibs, they are heavier than well known brands and thus warmer. Around me it seems it's common for chinese clothes, they are not top quality, less ventilated, warmer especially for jerseys.

Spexcel bibs became a bit looser than when they were new and chamois is now irritating me.

So you have what you pay for, don't expect a miracle  ;)

It seems they wanted to keep the same WB for each sizes so they are playing with head angle and reach. Only stack has a normal increase between each size + 20mm.

Yes i think the geometry is really akward and strange, 1,90m people must ride on the same short bike designed for 1,60!
I never understand why road geometry doesn't keep the same HA and just reach and stack increasing.

What is the point of buying wheeltop edx while a GX AXS is cheaper and proven?
Or is the quality of wheeltop more on the same level as XX1 groupset?

The springs on MTB derailleurs are harder than on road. Especially with 1x drivetrain.
You see the difference on shimano, without cage lock engaged it's smoother.
It's the same mtb vs road where you don't need the same tension and chain retention thus you can't expect same feeling.

Hi, with 40mm tufo i have less than 5mm between tire and chainstay. I already used a 43mm gravelking sk but without any margin for bend wheel or broken spoke.

In the fork you can go up to 45mm tire more easily.

Arno posted the geo chart from Carbonda at the end of this thread:  https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,3986.0.html

No BB height, but I'd assume a few mm higher than the 100mm 936 since the new link is just pushing the rear end a bit further down.  Of course if you run more sag with the new link it will probably be very similar.
Ok i saw.
Reach and HA are the same as the basic 100/100mm version but with 120/120 setup and bike raised by 1cm.

It's clearly a pretty different bike with the new link!

Second  "transplantation" performed.
Michaels fm936 also ready for test.
We will inform you about our experience.
Hello did you check how geometry has changed with the new link?
I would like to know what is the effect on bb height, reach and head angle.

Same experience for me, I tried a ZTTO SLR2 11speed cassette because price was low and this cassette is light for a 11-46.

No surprise that shifting is not good as shimano or sram, even slx cassette are far better.

After 1000km i changed for a new chain and was unable to run because of skipping on 3 sprockets... even a used chain (100-200km) was not running.

A friend bought a cassette for road but never used it because shifting was too bad so for me now i'll stop buying "ali" cassettes, it's money wasting.

About shock pressure, do you easily go to max travel?
I run around 25% sag with 42,5 fox and i often end with using only 3/4 of the travel.

I have been researching purchasing this frame.  I currently have an older 2015ish hardtail.  Not sure on the exact model (cant log into my old account on here?? forgot the information)

Anyway my question is regarding my fork.  I have a 2015 Reba upgraded with a charger damper, the offset is 46mm.  I have 80mm, 100mm, and 120mm airshafts.

Would the 46mm offset work well with this geometry?

thanks for the help.
New sid has 44mm offset so you will be very near to the "actual standard".
My first build with this frame was with a reba 120mm probably same model as yours. It works until i swapped to new sid and saw that improved rigidity and debonair are a real improvement especially with a downcountry bike like 936.
