Why BB92? Most MTB people I meet ride SRAM Eagle, and thus DUB spindles.
41mm - 30mm => 11mm /2 = 5.5mm height, is not much space for bearings inside BB cups.
As a result they don't last long. Forcing you to frequent  BB replacement.

Why flat mount brakes on a mountain bike? I know there are adapters but is there an advantage to it?

Aren't they easier to align? And... lighter  ::)

1) this is 27+ / 29+ section => 27.5 x 3.0 or 29 x 3.0 tyres => you're not posting the right place
2) BB92 sucks, T47 is the right way
3) flatmount sucks, this is a roadie idea...
