My workswell horror story
« on: February 22, 2018, 02:32:05 AM »
I ordered and paid for a frame just over 3 months ago now
Nothing has been sent and I'm pretty sure I've been ripped off
Its that or this will be a new record time for slowest delivery of an open mould frame ever
I made the mistake of paying via bank transfer so i'm unable to cancel the transaction

Just a friendly heads up^^

Hopefully, you just got caught up with the Chinese New Year Holiday. I believe things have slowed in China since January because of preparation for this Holiday. It is concluding this week, btw.

I also got a custom order on-hold (with another vendor)  because of this too. Although, unlike you, no payment had been made yet. I believe someone in this forum also had to postpone his order to March for the same reason.  So hopefully, you'll get some news next week.

Btw, I have no experience with Workswell.

It's not the first time I see a delay that long when ordering somewhere around Christmas. Some vendors are often on slow mode at this time of the year (December to March).

...although I have to say that they should at least have the decency to give their customers a heads up.

hm, i ordered my tideace frame around middle of december and have it now for about 3 weeks, so it took 1,5 months. Also it got caught at the border so ya can add at least 3-5 days. Chinese newyear wasn't that much of an issue, but it was still christmas during the delivery time.
Where did ya order your workswell? Aliexpress or somewhere else?

What's their reason (or excuse) for the delay?
