i have recently heard a rumor that this frame has problems with rear rotor and lockring rub, as its dropouts were not design correctly

It's true that the first run of the IP-010 and the same frame from Speedercycling have a rear spacing issue. Apparently there is a fix in the works.

does anyone know of a fatbike frame that has 197mm spacing in the rear and 100mm bottom bracket.  All the newer US frames are built like this but chinertown rigs (and maybe Salsa) use 120mm bottom brackets unless they are using 190mm spacing in the rear then they use 100mm BB.  The Fyxation Blackhawk fatbike is supposedly a generic chinertown frame with 197mm rear and 100mm bottom bracket but I don't know who is selling it (directly from China that is).  Thanks for the help.

I don't know of any. I think a 100mm BB might be too narrow for a 197 frame, depending on the design of course. The 100 on my IP-010 only clears the chainstays by a few mm. I think I'm going to have heel rub issues with winter boots.  :(

Q2 cycling has frame/fork combo as well as wheels, but I heard that they can't ship to the USA.  I'm in Japan, so they are still on my "possible" list.

Are there any frames with room for a Bluto yet?

As I understand it, Peter's full suspension fat bike frame has room for a Bluto, but that's it. If you want a fatty hardtail with a Bluto, check out RVC's NASA themed build where he had to use a spacer to lift the front end for clearance.

That is a nice looking frame.  However, that is the highest price I have seen on a Carbon frame posted on this forum.

Anyone know if this build is descent for the price. Any input is appreciated. I really want to stay in the $1500 dollar range.

$1,606 is pretty cheap for any full carbon bike.  It doesn't have components that I would choose but the components that are offered are still decent.

What about the wheels. Says it comes with carbon wheels, anyone ever run carbon fat wheels?

I've got carbon rims from XMCarbonSpeed which have been fine, much easier to set up tubeless... then again that bike just sits there all the time, so that doesn't say much, but they look like they'll hold up well.

I love how that bike looks like it was assembed at a Wal-Mart with too much steerer tube and way too much cable housing and brake hose. Doesn't even look like there are spacers above the stem. Sure, that's how it'd be shipped to you, but at least put a little effort into the auction photos...
