27.5+ hardtail build

hi there, new to the website but been riding for a long time.

i have a dedicated single track fully and dedicated downhill, but i been tossing around the idea of building a budget hardtail so my buddies can have a decent bike to join in on some single track days. I've been looking and seems like all the carbon hardballs have a steep head angle. are there any out there with a 67.5 or even 68....or have any of you used angle sets to achieve a slacker angle?

Also, what is a solid hardtail frame for less than $300? I've been reading about ICAN and BXT but wanted to see what you guys say.

I already have a set of brakes, so with that in mind i would like to build a bike for less than $800? It won't have top line specs like my other bikes but I'm looking at used 120-130MM forks and can piece together a 1x11 drive train.

Most (if not all) chiner use IS42/IS52 headsets so there is no angle sets that will fit there unfortunatly. There isn't enough space for it to work. The only option would be to use a thicker crown race but then you also mess with BB height.

It looks like an update to the raised chainstay frame that's been out for a while: a bit slacker, a bit longer, a bit taller head tube. All good for me.
