Does anybody know where i can get a stronger derailleur hanger for this frame? The one that is supplied with is a bit soft. Ive had to straighten it a couple of times already.

As far as I’m aware only LightCarbon supplies them. Mine seem plenty strong, maybe you got a bad unit?

So this is my LCFS947 so far. Still waiting on some parts so it is not complete. But damn am i happy with the colour! Was trying to find something like the Öhlins yellow but with a pearl/metallic effect and found a Porsche colour that looked right. My first diy paintjob and is super happy.
And being a swede i had to splurge on the Öhlins suspension..

That looks fantastic man! I’m considering tearing mine down in the off-season  and painting it Porsche Ultraviolet.

Jealous of the Ohlins stuff. Love to hear how you think it rides!

I've seen there's pressift headset. Is it indeed ZS type with press-in cups or just drop-in (typo on page)? I'm thinking about works components -1 deg angleset option.

It’s a ZS for sure.

I’m sitting at about 63.5 ht angle and it’s so damn good. 170 front suspension and mullet setup.

I have recently built up a medium size lcfs947 and encountered this play, at the lower shock mount, when lifting up the bike. I can actually feel/hear this play when descending rooty and rough downhills. Has anyone else encountered this and come up with a solution?



Are you running a Fox Float X2? Does it fit?

Yup. That is a Fox x2. It fits within the frame and has about 2-4mm of space on the sides. The back sticks out a bit (<1mm) so the cover, for the rear tire, does not fit. I intend to remove some material on the cover so that I can re-install it.

Looking into building one of these up with Lightcarbon wheels this winter.

Zero hiccups or modifications needed.  The cable routing can be a pita but no more than any other bike. Bearings are fine I’ve ridden on mine for over 500 HARD miles and they’re still super smooth. Only complaint is the lack of seatpost depth and no real chance to run a coil shock.

I did find a creak in the seat stays which were replaced rapidly by LC.

Overall much better than my 958 I’m currently building.

As for their wheels I can’t speak on them but also interested in getting a set.

I had no hiccups in building mine up.  i did have the issue where the lower shock pin was slightly undersized resulting in slight play in the suspension.  i fixed this by making my own pin out of alloy tubing.  shaved some weight and made it a much tighter fit.  Very happy over all with this build.

I had that problem when i mounted my Öhlins TTX2 Air. I designed a new cover that can be 3d printed that have space for the larger shocks.
It prints flat but is easily bent to proper shape. I am happy to share the stl file if anyone wants to print it.
