Yup. That is a Fox x2. It fits within the frame and has about 2-4mm of space on the sides. The back sticks out a bit (<1mm) so the cover, for the rear tire, does not fit. I intend to remove some material on the cover so that I can re-install it.

Got my frame and X2 shock. It touches the frame when at full extension..... It's fine when sagged, but when unloaded there is definitely contact.

Do you also have a medium size frame?

Yes, it's a medium. If you have a way to make it fit I'll keep it. Because it's the ideal shock

Oy.... I just checked and it is indeed hitting in that spot. When I asked, last November during purchase, they told me that if the shock was 185x55 it would fit. The website didn't detail that the x2 will not fit at the time either

Should have done my due diligence to double check the fit after I put pressure in the shock (installed it with the shock aired down).

There's no way these large diameter shocks will fit unless the pivot is re-designed to be a little longer.

It's a shame really,... it's an enduro frame that can't take any enduro shocks.

I was hoping you'd have some magic voodoo answer for me to get it to fit

Sorry dude. I'm really bummed as well. LC has e-mailed me saying that they will tweak the mold or the pivot for the future. I can't see that happening any time soon.

My frame has a slight crack in the UD paint, nothing serious. Should I ask for a partial refund for the damage?

Mind sharing a picture? They’ll likely offer a partial refund anyway.

Imagine they lower the pivot point and clear the dropper insertion for 3-5cm. I wouldn't care about exposed shock at all.

Looks like you need to be extra careful about seat clamp torque.

Agreed. Carbon paste and about 4 nm will set you right. But please use a torque wrench.

Is there any damage on your frame?
