I'm blown away by how well it rides. slightly naughty paint job.
It climbs as well as my sonder transmitter hardtail and descends a whole lot faster.
I've bashed it through Scotland and down some big drop offs without any concens. Its not has a few stone chips and not looking quite so pretty.

Chainring was slightly awkward as I had to run zero offset to get everything inline, good excuse to buy a nice oval cnc one.

I'm still waiting for a new one up dropper post but everyone seems out of stock. Also if anyone can recommend any good carbon wheels  (30 -35mm internal width)

You know it's a Miracle FS830  with the frame geometry inspired by the Pivot firebird.

I build my own wheels with Chinese components, except the spokes, hey why not stay within the same spirit!

Still happy with your 830? A new group buy thread has sprung up for it and with all the complications of the AM831 situation, it’s a tempting alternative to a four-bar like the FM1002.

I prefer 2.6 or at least wide 2.5 clearance, but otherwise on paper this seems like one of the best options out there.

Could you explain that? Is it a quirk of the frame or some other reason? I’d normally expect a boost bike to work with a 3mm offset…..

After some issues with a first version of the FS831 frame, due to a flawed pivot design, we were wondering if the design of this FS830 was cleaner, to maybe switch to this instead.

Looking at the pictures, I had worries about the link design (see from here: https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,3172.msg33167.html#msg33167).

Could anyone confirm how the bearings are mounted in the links? Haideli are not very diligent about providing the details.

Perhaps top-fire might be more forthcoming with linkage details?

It seems like some people have received these frames and are riding them around, surely they could take some photos of the pivot bearing mounting arrangement for the thread? I'm somebody who is looking at frames trying to decide what I want to do now, and I might buy this frame if I can see that the bearing mounting solution is adequate, but unless I see that I have my doubts and I might buy something else... Seems like Eddy or somebody else should just post some pictures and then people like me will be able to buy with confidence!

Especially after they botched the 831 links, they should really try to bring back some confidence! Eddy hasn't responded to my requests for schematics of the pivots. Not sure if he's scared to show what he has, or if he's having trouble finding material to show.
