Dengfu E10 frame & Bafang M500 Motor

I've been waiting for a long time for there to be a good option in the open mold Chinese carbon E-Bike frame category and a powerful but budget E-Bike motor that will fit it and I think I've found it. Came across this guy's video on YouTube and thought I would share it here for inspiration. I think I'll use this build as a template for an E-bike build of my own sometime this year. Excited to see this space develop and grow and present even more affordable options.

Saw that video a couple of days ago, damn nice looking frame and paint job. I also read a comment on the video that they wont sell it to North American market, hopefully hes wrong or they change their mind when they see all the people coming from the video wanting to buy.

Just a good feedback about Bafang's motors.

We had an old Trek city bike in the garage.
And installed this summer an older model BBSHD(1000w ) on it.
Very easy installation with a Stormey-Archer 3 speed hub.
I kept the default 25km/h speed limit, and removed the throttle as it reached 60km/h and would kill my kids( that love the bike ).
And we now use it regularly instead of the car when it is not raining.

Oh really, I didn't catch that. If it is true, surely it's just a matter of time before Dengfu or another company offers it to the U.S. market. I'll contact them and find out.

Hmm it seems like there are multiple ebike frame options with both Bafang and Shimano e-bike motor mounting options. Thinking I definitely need to build one with less travel. I'll gather some more details.

I was also planning to buy the E10 frame, but dengfu wants 799 Dollar for the frame. Did you already a offer for the frame? and for shipping?

Found it. I'm interested in this frame since June 2020, but I haven't bought it yet. My biggest question to myself was, do I need it?

Lightcarbon has a whole section dedicated to e bike frames and the many motors available. I'm hoping my next build is an ebike!
