I've worn nothing but Assos and Castelli for years, but I'm done. These $11 bibs are amazing for the price, and still amazing if you disregard the price and compare them directly to the status brands. I've found others as well (can't get links right now as getting errors from ali) with the blue "EI" pad that are really good.

As far as laundry goes, I've washed everything for years on delicate with low detergent, and thrown stuff in the dryer selecting low or no heat and running it for an hour. No damage at all. Just don't use some preprogramed cycle that throws heat.

I remain skeptical that ali winter kit has the wide temp range of the materials used by Assos et al, but I've got pretty much a lifetime supply of their fall/winter gear that I've bought used at reasonable prices. Can't bring myself to pay 150-300 for cycling clothing, ever.

If you want to do skin-tight minimal-storage you should consider maybe not bringing fabric-mauling bunch of keys and a non-minimal wallet.
I bring one key (the one to my house) and no wallet (just phone which has apple pay).

Just got my jersey from Slopline and bibs from Darevie. Normally wear L shirts and I bought an XL jersey, fits tight around the arms and shoulders, otherwise the rest is pretty good. Haven't ridden in it yet, but I don't feel a ton of air flow when I stand next to a fan. Darevie bibs I'm like a 34x32 with big thighs, I ordered a 3Xl, probably a touch large but overall happy with the fit. Again, I haven't actually tried them on a ride yet.

Yes.  These have held up surprisingly well considering the price I paid.  In cooler weather during Spring and fall, they help keep my feet warm.

Mostly endorsed. I like my Desotos slightly better but they also cost literally 20x as much.
