Does anyone have recommendations for very thin/breathable jerseys and bibs?

I have a good number of YKYW bibs and jerseys, but I've noticed as the weather has gotten very hot and humid they haven't done as well. The jerseys I have are pretty "solid" material, so I was looking at this jersey since it's more mesh style:

For bibs, while I really like the YKYW bibs (I have a lot of them in many different colors), these are again pretty "thick"

Has anyone found more breathable/lightweight shorts and jerseys?

I'd be keen to know this, too.

Currently my best summer bibs are perforated Rosti bibs in small/long, would be keen on finding an aliex alternative.

The lameda ones look good, I like the straight cut leg without any silly thigh crushing elastic at the cuff. Might try them and report back.

This mesh jersey I have one in red/maroon, it's well ventilated and works well in the summer (I live in Brazil so summer here is tough hehe). I really like it and recommend it
the only 'warning' is that the mesh let's light through, so in sunny days it's necessary to put some sunscreen under the jersey, otherwise you'll get some 'patterned' sunburn lol

about the bibs, even though I normally suffer in hot days, I don't find the YKYW particularly hot..
but I'd say the Darevie famous one - the 2 panel model, available in multiple colors, that was extensively recommended in this topic - seems to be thinner and lighter for hot days. I'd say it's worth a try

Darevie bibs (2023?): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005057467316.html
My experience doesn't mirror others at all. They are by far my favorite bibs, the pad is perfect, gripper is good and construction lasts. I got 3
I also love those darevie bibs. Ordered 2 more in the last sale.

https://a.aliexpress.com/_mOPfsoG

Got these Darevie bibs on sale for $20.  They are a great value at that price.   For their full retail price of nearly $60 I think there are better values (in the closeout/clearance of premium brands).     The Darevie bibs fit nicely.  The pad is well positioned, nice and flexible, but maybe a little less supportive than I'd prefer.   The shoulder straps are a little rough/textured, but not bothersome to me so far.    I’m 165cm / 55-56kg and got a size small that fits well.    Have ridden a few 60-90 minute sessions on the trainer and a nearly 3 hour gravel ride found them comfy.

I have a couple DeMarchi bibs and a set of Louis Garneau bibs I got on closeout at sportpursuit for $29(ea) and $65 respectively and they blow these Darevie bibs out of the water dollar for dollar, especially where the chamois is concerned; But shipping is $15 from sportpursuit so thats annoying and eats into any dollar savings.

What's a good price for such a bib, and where are you based?

Edit: I got the pastel green jersey from https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007101108645.html, sold by RAUDAX China Store. I'm yet to ride with it, but i think it's the best jersey i've bought on Aliexpress (i bought quite a few and send back many). I paid 13.5 eur, but it seems to be around 16 eur generally. What i received is slightly different than the listing. The sleeves are just right (material, grip & length), the collar is just right (diameter, fit / style), the length / fit / size is just right, the fabric is breathable on the sides, and silk like front and back. So it can't be the most breathable summer jersey, but it really looks and feel excellent. The fact it's that affordable is just a bonus. The colour is pastel, it's a bit more vibrant / less grey than the listing indicates. It's the kind of colour that's hard to render well on screen. There's a good chance i ll end up buying several more in other colours. Could also make a nice present for friends.

Did you order it from that linked page?  The title has "Youth" in it which is making me a bit afraid to pull the trigger for fear of getting a kids jersey.

I was planning on getting the jersey too, but after reading the reviews I have decided against it... There are a few reviews that state the quality is very bad.

I guess I will guineapig these 3 items.

Two cycling jackets (one PNS and the other is MAAP). I wear a North American M but went for XL on both. Prefer a slightly free fit than a tight fit.

One MAAP hat. Only had one size to choose from.

5 ft 10, 165 lbs. will review them when I get the items.

I bought this after your recommendation and rode it yesterday. I agree its the best I got from china so far. The design is not so great imho with the logo on the chest and a white stripe in the middle of the back. But the tissue, fit and overall quality is just very good. I bought size L while usually on European M. Thanks for the hint!

I did order from the link, yes. I think it says "youth" meaning racing fit, like if you're an old british punter with 40 years of beer belly action, you don't buy that one.

I normally don't buy Chinese cycling clothes (I prefer western brands during discount sales), but for the price I'm really liking this mesh base layer tanktop which I even wear during hot summer days. It does a good job wicking sweat away from my jersey. It also helps me stay cool in the heat and warm towards the cool evening.

I also tried these aero cycling socks with a silicone elastic. I thought these were a gimmick, but I wore them today and they were quite comfortable.
