Just under 3,000 km on the 168 I built in May last year and so far it's great.

New additions include the 50mm Velobuild wheels and the recently installed HB-011 bars. I previously had the HB-010 with the internal fastening wedge instead of the two outside bolts. Had some play/flex on the HB-010 and not sure if this was related to additional spacing because of the wedge or just how I had it mounted them, however I've been really happy with the HB-011 bars and I did cut off some of the steerer when I mounted them.

Okay, now I am thoroughly confused. I emailed Chris and he says that the included integrated bars are the HB010 and that they have -17 angle.
I looked at http://www.velobuild.com/products/carbon-fiber-road-bike-integrated-handlebar-with-spacers-for-hidden-cables-routing
These bars (HB010) appear to have a two bolt clamp system. Was the HB010 updated at some point? It still has some forward sweep, I'm also not sure it is actually -17 deg...

Yes I think the very first HB010s that came out had the internal wedge system for tightening and it seems they quickly switched to two bolt.

Not sure about the specific angle for the stems however the HB011 feels like it a steeper more aggressive angle.

The bike finally out on its first ride!
95% done, only need to add some bartape and do some final adjustments.
Haven't weighted it yet but it's close to 7.5-8kg I think.
-Lightbicycles ar46 wheels with Sapem spokes and carbon ti hubs.
-ultegra r8100 12sp 52-36/34-11 172.5
-conti gp5000s tl

The bike just feels fast. I'm not used to this type of fast. I come from a 10yo Isaac Pascal with mixed and matched groupset.
This is next level. I'm still kinda getting used to the stiffness and the changes this brings with cornering but that's just a matter of time.

Overall very happy with the build. It wasn't easy but it was my first time building a whole bike with DI2 and hydrolic brakes.

How did you find fitting those tires? I have the same setup (AR46 + GP5000 TL), and lost some skin mounting them  :P

If I mount the rear caliper without adapter, then fits on the rear wheel a 160mm disc or only a 140mm?

Depends on the caliper you are using.
For instance rhe Juin Twch F1 or GT is sized for 160mm without adapters
Better than average - Extra Average

Has anybody tried one of the SL7 direct mount mech hangers?

Something like this?

https://www.pedaleur.nl/product/specialized-tarmac-derailleurhanger-my18-my19/

This is such an oversight by Velobuild tbh. The 168 and 177 are clearly homages to Specalized designs so why not make the forks, seatposts and hangers the same as their name brand counterparts? it'll save a lot of hassle in the future when they're no longer produced and you need to find spare parts.

How is the 177 a homage to a specialized?

The 168, sure. But a der hanger isnt normally something one would break imo lol

You're right, the 177 is not that similar to Specialized. For the hangers, it'll be nice to be able to use aftermarket direct mount examples from Sigeyi.

Yeah I struggled a bit myself to. But with the help of some plastic tyre irons I was able to get them on.

Finally received my frame and wheels. Ordered early Feb. Picked Metallic Dark Blue, first bike build ever. some notes:
VBR-168  / 54
-front brake hole on the lower fork had too much paint and it took a bit of effort to get a cable housing through
-paint came out better than expected
-panicked a bit when I saw a tiny hole in both the wheels (google says this is a drainage hole and not to be worried)
-had to file down one of the raised spacer guides as the underside of the bar was missing a hole.

Will pick up some tyres tomorrow and finish the build. cant wait to ride it (currently flooding in Australia)

Metallic Dark Blue

That colour choice turned out really well, make sure to post a pic when the build is done!

For my 066 frame I wanted a midnight blue color but they told me they don't have one and referred me to the brighter metallic blue which I was okay with.

quick update, put on GP5000's with the Velo Build 50mm wheels, still waiting on some Juin Tech brakes to come in over the next few days before I can complete the build.

I am also terrible at wrapping bars.

Question for everyone who is running a mechanical front derailleur, how the f**k did you manage to get the outer cable in the cable stop behind the bottom bracket?

I'm using jagwire pro cable outer and have a ferrule on the end that I'm trying to get to sit in the cable stop in the frame, however it seems like the angle in which the hole is drilled in the cable stop makes it impossible for the cable to feed in to.

My plan is to run the f/d cable under the bottom bracket, which means the outer comes up at a 90 degree angle, whereas the cable stop is more of a 45 degree angle and I just can't seem to get them to fit.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
