hahah totally!

One of the presenter seems to not be a fan of Chinese based brands from what I've seen in the past and the reaction in this video haha - Just you wait!

They're a fan of what ever they're paid to promote (or exclude).

Slap an Orbea decal on it. Lol

i was wondering, is there any little plastic cable through located on all the opening of the frame (rear brake, FD, RD, front break), or it is just a hole in the carbon and the cable going through?

In other news, the 168 makes an appearance on GCN during the bike vault segment.

Looks like just shy of the vault based on technicalities.

I propose we flood GCN with Velobike bike vault submissions.  Heck, let's flood GCN with vault submissions for all our Chiner bikes!

They look so conflicted.

lol - "I think we're not supposed to like this, but it's so good!"

LoL when my Winspace T1500 and Hyper wheels were featured on GCN Tech...I am certain they purposely mispronounced and mislabeled my bike. Which is sad because Alex literally did that silly stairs and curb test with the very same frame and wheels two months prior.

But hey I get it. Don't wanna get fired for making your corporate sponsors unhappy  :-X

In a surprise update to my VB-R-168 saga, Chris actually came through, and I finally received the correct seatpost hardware for my frame.
I was so surprised to see that it fit because aside from the curvature being tighter, it looks almost identical.

Hi all,
I would like to share my experience with Velobuild with you. I ordered two frames a VB-R-168 and a VB-R-066. Both show quality problem, the VB-R-168 actually is a disaster. Here are the reasons:

  • Scratches all over
  • Cable outlets are a mess
  • On bar second hole missing to match spacers
  • Holes for Garmin mount way off, it not perpendicular
  • color of frame and fork are different
  • Front derailleur hanger does not match frame

There seems to be no quality control at all. To me, buing from Velobuild is a jeopardy. Be warned and consider shopping there very carefully!

I have not heard of any bad reviews from Longteng bikes and their ltk268. I would choose them over velobuild any day of the week, and twice on Sundays and velobuild seems to have poor quality control about 20% of the time.

Oof that's a huge letdown- dremels cannot fix paint! I just ordered a VB 168 and am very much hoping it comes out better than my Workswell did a few years ago. I am now a little nervous I decided to go with a three color design... :-\

What has Chris/VeloBuild offered to resolved all those issues, when you contacted him?
