Had to scratch the itch!
New carbon Fatty build even though I own a 2014 Mukluk.
Most parts ordered. Only rec'd the XTR shifter and the Cinch Crank so far.
Here's the plan -

 Rims: nextie carbon 65mm
 Brakes: Juicy (old ones I have)
 Rear Hub: Hope Fatsno 177x12
 Rear Tire: Nate 120 tpi
 Front Tire: Nate 120 tpi
 Handlebars Nextie carbon 700mm
 Pedals: Flats and XTR
 Front Hub: Hope Fatsno 135x15
 Headset: neco tapered
 Stem: ? (I have a few)
 BB: Race Face 100mm
 Grips: Ritchey
 Saddle: ? (I have a few)

Then sell the Mukluk I guess (?)

I hear you. I'm more and more tempted to build a chiner fat bike all the time. Problem is, I've never ridden one and am wanting one bc they look sooo ridiculously cool   

Since you already have the Mukluk I say definitely sell it... You obviously like the fat bike platform and the carbon chiner will be a huge upgrade for you, especially if you get some nice wheels to go along with it - and it looks like you are.

Any update on this? I was looking at the IP-057 but thanks to sketchy availability, I decided to switch gears and ordered up a Motobecane Boris with the Bluto shock. Waiting for that to arrive now - but was thinking that if I like it, a Chiner fatbike frame might work out really well. Curious to hear if your build happened and how it went.

^^ Very Nice! Loving the silver paint with blue rims. I assume that's custom paint from from the vendor? Happen to know the total weight? And what are your ride impressions of the fatty style bike?

LT painted it but the wrong color. So I had a friend repaint it.
Ride is quite different compared to my Mukluk.
The handling is close to a 29er. Could also be partly due to the 65mm rims vs the 80mm on the Muk.
Wt is about 25.5lbs (bathroom scale) w/suspension fork.

I plan to use the suspension fork in the summertime with HuDu tires.
In the snow - Nates and rigid front.

So far I'm still testing running the Nates which are great in the snow but energy killers road and trail.

Hey thanks for the reply and additional pics. I'm really surprised that the weight is only 25.5 lbs for a fat bike with suspension fork. I was thinking more like 29 or 30 pounds. Good to hear that.
