I've ordered a set of ent disc, hope my hubs will be loud as yours, I would love that

If you got the ENT I am afraid your hubs will be silent.

Here is the link for the wheel, although they have some other nice sets, like a natural carbon lightweight set

https://xmcarbon.en.alibaba.com/product/1600247326063-815335396/New_arrivals_BWT_road_disc_wheelset_45mm_rim_depth_29mm_width_tubeless_700c_carbon_wheelset.html?spm=a2700.shop_plgr.41413.37.64296d3emYFFnw

Available with DT Swiss hubs, for a price of course.

OMG the price is now 710$US ,  then add shipping, then tax probably ...
Inflation is steep in couple months

Hi ,

Wheredid you see the noise level of the R07 ?
I cannot seethe dbsound level in the spec.

In fact I am looing for a quiet wheel from the vendor but they not not provide the DB noise level of the hub

If you follow the link below, it goes to a product page specifically for the RD07.
There should be a radar chart showing the different properties of the hub

Hi OP,

How are they riding? Wasn't sure whether to go for the BWS or BWT model - unsure of the difference? I need the Rim break version

Thanks

The BWS is a Zipp-inspired saw-tooth design, while the BWT is a Princeton Carbon-inspired sinusoidal design
In both cases, the profiles are not as aggressive as the wheelsets they resemble (e.g the BWT is 45mm at the deep sections and 42mm in the shallow sections, while the Princeton Grit 4540 is 45mm and 40mm)

A lot of the designs look super similar, but it appears that some are just variations on a theme (different hubs, different spokes, different depths, and lighter or heavier rim weights), while others have novel features, such as the BWS and BWT

Thanks for the info

How are yours riding?

Take this with a pinch of salt, a my prior set were a used mismatch low-end Shimano and Alex Rims combo, with cup-cone bearings...

That being disclosed, I am loving them.  Tubeless set-up was a breeze - it was my first time, but I do own a compressor....
They rolled true out of the box and seem fast.

I say "seem", as I am riding these on a new build, which is on an aero frame and a full 10lbs lighter than my commuter.  So I cannot objectively say I've isolated the wheels' performance and say they run fast.

A zone 2 endurance ride on this bike yields the same times as a tempo ride on my commuter.

The 45mm profile and (presumably) sinusoidal pattern make cross-wind impact no worse than a typical box section profile.

I've, so far, had zero issues with them, but I've only put 250km on them

Ok thank you.

More general question - having previously lived in TO I couldn't imagine commuting via bike with the streetcars and poor drivers. You are brave!

Haha Thanks!  You'd be surprised how many bike lanes have popped up in Toronto over the last few years.
That being said, I commute around Wilson Rd near Downsview, and if I need to do a long ride, I go out to Pickering/Durham

I am afraid the ENTs will be pretty quiet.
I rode my old commuter the other day, which has silent Shimano hubs and I have come to realize:
When I am casually cycling to run some errands, I prefer silent
When I am doing a training session, or some sort of ride where I put in effort, I actually enjoy the noise:
  • It is a convenient way to warn those ahead of you that you are approaching from behind
  • It is a convenient way to remind you that you are being lazy and coasting  :D

Which one did you go for?

I'm waiting until 11.11 to order some BWS Rim brakes with DTSwiss 350 Hubs
